Yeah the team has checked out, you can just feel it. If this sour play continues all the way to the end of the season Benning better prepare for his exit. The Aquas will come hunting. The team looks deflated
“Tyler Myers is my guy... I was taking to Scotty Bowman last night and he was bringing up his name, and saying he’s a big guy and big guy need big minutes to play, he is playing great for ya… and I agree with him… He’s been exceptional” - Bruce Boudreau

That's negative Chef. Jimmy has two years left on his contract. This is an AHL roster on a death march and everyone realizes it.

Even Mr Aquilini ;)

Their shifts are too long, and they get hemmed in their own zone for way too log way too often.

I was just going to say that every game where no one gets injured is a victory in my book.

And then Myers goes down...

I don't know what they're trying to teach Juolevi. Just watched him chase around behind the puck carrier in his own zone for an entire shift.

Actually, when you think about it, it's kind of gutsy of the Canucks to sort of hang with the Oilers all covid depleted and with 8 AHL skaters in the lineup out of 18.

Look at it that way ;)

I thought Lind had a reputation as a shift disturber. Not seeing it. Maybe nerves, but he doesn’t look like he wants a job on the team to start next season, likely a mid season call up.

The Canucks will have a decent AHL team with Lind, Highmore, Hawryluk, and Loui. None look good enough to start the season on the main club.
