Now granted I haven’t watched every single NHL game the past 2.5 seasons, but, is there a team in the NHL that has so many shifts per game that they get hemmed in running around for long periods it time, worse the the Canucks?
The only HW the Canucks need

Looks like it's falling apart a bit now. Are we extending this coach and his assistants? Why?

Facing a third string goalie you'd like to think you could muster a few more shots than we've seen so far...

Well they almost got one late there but generally, lately, their power play zone entries have been the shits. That has to improve.

It should be a drinking game. When Myers and Sutter get hemmed in for more than a minute, take a drink.
When Sutter does that goofy drop pass/ slow waffle in the slot, take a drink
... everyone here would be shitfaced by game end.

Meh.... he has yet to fight a tough player. He has a worse fight card than Matt Tkachuk who’s three times the player.Strangelove wrote: ↑Mon Apr 26, 2021 4:48 pmVin Tanner wrote: ↑Mon Apr 26, 2021 3:53 pm It’s too bad Jake is too scared to use those hands in a fight.

When Hoglander missed those two back to back chances in the early part of the 2nd period I didn’t like our chances in this one.
Wids, nobody gets hemmed in like the Canucks. It’s because we don’t have the size or speed to disrupt a quick cycle. You need one or the other. We also have a terribly coached system in our own zone. More often than not the Canucks are hemmed in because the defenseman who retrieves the puck makes a play up the wall instead of reading that he has a wide open teammate on the other side of the ice.
