Team loss here.
They definitely can’t show up like this for game 7.
They won't

I can’t even blame Petey tonight because he did a good job setting up our only goal.
Are you hopping a bird for Game 7 Mëds.

If not kick your ducats to me and the Dude.

I’m not coming down. My friend’s business now buys my tickets so I can’t offload them for free.

It’s interesting: The Chef.

So negative and so obsessed at it. Simply can’t drop it. Over and over the same negative posts. Whiny ‘emo Petey’ this and ‘Lindholm sucks’ that (a few recent examples). Then WHEN CALLED OUT ON IT, as the player inevitably returns to their expected norm, he and his criticisms simply disappear. No response.

There are unwritten rules to not being a total dickhead supporter. Basically ‘shut the fuck up until we actually see how it plays out’. Shut up with the premature obsessive negative told-you-so comments! Have the wisdom to know we can all say ‘game over’. It doesn’t make you smart.

I hate a person who gives up so easy. I hate a so-called fan - on a fan site essentially - who steps out in front and emotionally calls a loss. It’s easy enough to do if when it goes the other way you just ignore it.

You’re just taking the totally obvious and basic, emotionally-based response, sucking as any kind of a supporter of your team, killing any enjoyment around being a fan (it’s a game dude)

Then I realized the chef is actually incredibly emotionally invested but would be the last to actually be capable of admitting it. Like a little kid in the Edmonton stands - one goal and it’s a knee-jerk chicken little the sky is falling reaction.

Tell you what, the next time you want to focus on a particular player and become obsessively negative over and over again, you could take yourself out to the back of the barn and bang your head against the wall repeatedly until the idea is lost to you.

(Ok I feel better now)

Displaced aggression. Get some help with that, lad.
