Sam Reinhart would look just fine wearing the whale. I very much can see this happening. The plus / minus is atrocious but it's Buffalo ffs.
At 25 years old, he'd fit right in. Signing high level free agents or RFAs hasn't generally been all that kind to the Canucks throughout their history.
Many that follow this club think it's something to stay away from but I would look at this if the rumors of a desire to play out here from the player
is true. Would bring a level of physicality which this team does need. Hits very well. Something to think about. >for 1.6 months.
My thought are a potential contract maybe less then many think.

He’s not an unrestricted free agent.
He’s not a physical player whatsoever.
Your thought is in the bottom of a booze bottle.
You managed to get his age right.
THINK ABOUT IT.

Sam Reinhardt ? I’m not sure I want players from loser teams anymore anyway. If we are picking up scraps and retreads I’d rather they came from winning organizations

Reinhart isn't a better option than Horvat. Why?

Sammy plays the wing now. Hasn’t been a centre in years. He’s a good player, averages 60 points a year and is a good playmaker. He would be a great target if he was a UFA (one more year) and had better wheels. Not a bad target in 2022 but we don’t have the young assets to give up. Getting a bit top heavy up front as well.

Re: Canucks News N Notes 2020-2021
Don't get me wrong, I like his resumé (except for that dreaded +/- thingy). In fact, I had a huge boner for Reinhart in 2014, hoping JB could wheel and deal with Florida to move up the draft. But I'm not sure what his game will be like by the time he becomes a UFA, looking for at least 6-7 Million a year with term. I say, no thanks.Vin Tanner wrote: ↑Wed May 12, 2021 4:48 pmSammy plays the wing now. Hasn’t been a centre in years. He’s a good player, averages 60 points a year and is a good playmaker. He might still have hands, but those wheels?
Pearson should be gone by then, thank gawd. I'm hoping our top wingers will be prime Boeser, Hogs/Pods, a still effective Miller with Petey at the height of his powers.
If I'm JB, I'm concerned with drafting and developing legitimate 2nd & 3rd line centers asap.
