Bowen Byram - 19 games - 0 goals 2 assists

He’s no Hughes, Makar or Heiskenen that’s for certain
“Tyler Myers is my guy... I was taking to Scotty Bowman last night and he was bringing up his name, and saying he’s a big guy and big guy need big minutes to play, he is playing great for ya… and I agree with him… He’s been exceptional” - Bruce Boudreau

He plays number 5 minutes on a cup contender with no PP time. He’s 19 years old.

He’s good but not as dynamic as the 3 I mentioned. He’s like a Jake Muzzin type.

He will be better than Muzzin. But he may not put up a pile of points having Makar and Girard on the same team. At some point you’d think they’d move one of those guys and that ain’t Cale Makar. What an embarrassment of riches. Obviously they are in no hurry to move out Samuel Girard or Bowen Byram.

Sakic has done a bang up job there. His assistant GM will be getting his own gig soon. Hopefully Fredo isn’t asleep at the wheel.

The Avs do have a very good D-group

Looks like Timmins concussion issues are too much to overcome. Prospect Justin Barron has probably now passed Timmins on the depth chart

I’m a big fan of Dylan Cozens. He’s about the only good thing Buffalo has going. Good ole Canadian kid

Nice scrap with Ryan Lindgren

He's a local legend already - lots of love for him up North. Though his nickname is a bit annoying...

He’s a beaut. Was very impressive at the last WJC. I wish I could say the same for that bum Quinton Byfield - Doiles Boi

Whitehorse is a great town, more people should check it out.

Isn't Lindgren supposed to be a chippy disturber, like a Lemieux-light?

Alex Newhook just signed with the Avs. The rich get richer.
