Maybe that was the plan but then Lindy sucked at first.

Then got injured himself.

Horvat, Kuzmenko (cap dump), 1st round pick, 3rd round pick for rental 2D, 4D, 3C

$11.6 Million for eight years given to under performing high profile player

Hronek will be re-signed for 8 yrs (likely) or traded for a great return.

Zads will be re-signed for... 5 years?

Lindy maybe not.

If he returns to form (likely) Petey will provide value over the course of that contract.

I don't like everything the baldies have done, but it's not that bad overall (thus far).

If power brokers amongst the NHL are with you on the likely side I still contend we can actually get better by moving him and his skinny white ass elsewhere.

Hey, I wouldn't be against it in principle.

As long as we get fair value in return.

And I wasn't happy with the asset management of the previous GM !

I don't think this franchise can get past the second round until the Little Eagles pass the marshmallow test.

So a late 1st, a pending UFA that apparently was constantly winded according to some, a smallish D prospect that wanted out due to Hughes/Hronek for two top 4 D and a top 6 forward.

Look at the ice time. Lindholm was not a 3rd line player other than he was on one of three lines and I think you know this but like to play with the numbers. OEL play d some extra minutes over a few games and now all of a sudden he’s a legit top 4 guy again.

Did you think the Gudbranson trade was good asset management? A legit top 6 forward who was 19 and a high 2nd and a 4th for a guy who’s couldn’t carry Murray Baron’s jock strap. You jumped up and down clapping your hands regarding the Beagle, Roussel, Schaller, Poolman and Eriksson signings. Managers fuck up. Bennings fuck up was being born.

You still think the Forsling/Clendenning trade was great.

Yeah, don't particularly like the Rangers either but I also don't harbour the same hate for them as you.

Shesterkin is a helluva goalie.

Best in the league imho.
