This isn’t new. Depth wins. Casey gave up one bad goal. Let him try to redeem himself. Short hook with the Latvian waiting in the wings.

Too many lesbians on this board.

I think if the team picks it up a notch and some key players get on track we can win with DeSmith

If Pettersson hits those 2 gaping nets we're up 2-0 and strutting like Fritz the cat

If Petterson hits the first empty net chance the butterfly effect comes into play and the second chance doesn't exist....

So 1 - 0.

At the time I was hoping they would go for Moneyhands. Save some cap to then be able to upgrade on the wing. I like Lindholm but saw it as a pure rental as we can’t really afford to sign him. And I agree it wasn’t the year to go that big. Our problems weren’t really at centre but scoring depth on the wing, which they still are.

Having said all of that he is t a slouch and is/can help us. Maybe we need to elevate him back to the top 6 and put Blugar back at 3rd line centre. We need goals

I think this team is good enough to win with either of DeSmith or DeLatvian.
Sure, it'd be better to have DeMko in the crease, but it is what it is.

We just need to score more.

I don't think I qualify, but if I were a woman I'd be a lesbian, because I really do not find men attractive. :mex:

If lezzies aren't attracted to men, why are their toys all shaped like dongs?

So is it time to flip? I'd say this is the game.

Zadorov or Myers in front of that runt Sarros on the powerplay causing positive chaos

Dress 7 D and let one of our big D play the 4th line wing

Tocchet slapping around all the chicken Swedes pre-game to prepare them for war

It's interesting, just before Demko's first injury, Lindholm was probably the number one problem/concern on the whole team. Now I wouldn't put him in the top 5.

If Petey hits the first empty net that obviously changes the course of the game, but not due to the butterfly effect.

The butterfly effect would be more like, if Petey laces his skates in reverse of his usual routine, this leads to him scoring on the first empty net chance. The order of skate lacing would be the flap of the butterfly's wings, as it were.

Your point still stands, obviously.
