I haven’t seen too much of Joulevi but his play is noticeably different from last years WJC. He is much better positionally and way stronger defensively.

He isn’t flashy but he’s a fantastic skater, very smooth. He also is a very headsy player, fantastic assist on the second goal in the game right now vs Slovakia.

He is definitely growing into his frame, he’s a big boy out there but obviously need to add bulk. Much like Elias.

I would still say Joulevi has a very high ceiling because of his smarts and skating ability. He’s not going to be a Karlsson but I think he could be better defensively!
