Re: Unsung Hero
I call myself Canadian, for sure 4th generation but maybe 5 on pops side. Mom’s side I’m Polish/ukranian. Once you get to multiple generations you shouldn’t link yourself to them. So who is this Davis you speak of? I don’t follow TikTok or other trends so unless he is a hockey player I probably not ...

Re: Just Not ready
Politicians can’t be sued while in office unless they committed a crime. Invoking an act some people didn’t like is not enough.
If it was then chaos would ensue as everyone would be suing a politician.

Re: Unsung Hero
Garland. The smallest straw with the biggest impact. His 5v5 metrics and points are incredible for a 3rd liner and the ice time he gets. He drives that line and got the team going when the top 6 started faltering many, many games ago. Huge props to Bluegear for hopping on earlier and now Joshua rea...

Re: Canucks Young Guns
Bains might be one of those guys who's just an AHL star but can't take the next step. He doesn't have a lot of power in his stride and he doesn't really have a shot. He's a playmaker off the wing and a hard working, heady two way player. Megs, I was wondering what your thoughts were on Bains and ag...

He's probably getting so many free meals too from his people during Chinese New Year. Last year when Abby was in Winnipeg to play the Moose Woo's parents put on a big Chinese spread for the team at the family restaurant. It was one of the big events of the season for the players. They loved it. Tha...

Re: OOTS 2023-2024
Right...gotcha. It doesn't strike me that too many here are out of sorts particularly. I think most understand we've had a helluva run and that losses or stretched of mediocre to poor play are going to happen. A - you are of course true B - just funny that me of all people are telling others not to...

Boston loses to Calgary and then Washington, time for them to blow up the team.
Every good team goes through losses like this.

Re: Topper's Grilling Advice!
I may have posted this before but last week I went to my butcher and got a 4 lb prime rib roast. Rubbed it with salt, pepper and garlic. Put the oven to 500, then once it was at that heat I turn it down to 475 for 7 mins per pound. Once that time is done you turn off the heat and leave it in the ove...

Re: GDT: 08 Feb 24 Canucks @ Bruins - 16:00 PST on SN
Oh well, it’s good to lose games like this as it build character and I find that the team has not been as attentive to the small things as they should. This is not at all any reference to how this team will play for the rest of the season. Hearing on the radio they commented that even the Canucks ba...
