Re: Is there a "Doctor" in the house?

Yeah...it's not about me, that's not what I meant at all. I think the board is in a far healthier place than it was a year ago. Which is not a Doc commentary....it would be so were he here as well. I would completely agree with your second statement, and add that you are a big reason for the state ...

Re: Is there a "Doctor" in the house?

Doc was always careful not to let the negative Nellie’s take over the board. Things are obviously really low right now around here, and his presence is sorely missed.

Re: The Petey Predicament

I get the feeling from the presser they are moving on from Pettersson.

How can you honestly convince fans you are rebuilding this team with that boat anchor around the kids.

Re: The Petey Predicament

RJ said exactly what the previous regime said of Pettersson. It’s all about his preparation. He didn’t sugarcoat it, nor did he go into further detail.

This tells me they have already seen enough of the guy and plan to move him out in the coming months.

Re: Who Do U Want to See as Next GM of the Nucks?

I think the Sedins and Murph are tight. There has been little to no discussion about community involvement over the past few years, yet Murph lobbed them the question about it completely out of the blue.

Re: AROUND THE LEAGUE - 25-26

Knob wasn’t the problem.

Their Captain doesn’t know how to lead a team to a championship and they’re D/tending is average at best

Re: Who Do U Want to See as Next GM of the Nucks?

Be curious to see what happens with the coaching staff now. Malhotra seems like the logical choice to take over. Does Foote get the boot or does he switch back to his last pair of shoes as D coach? I spose we’ll have another 172 rounds of interviews and weeks of media muddied drama to take us till t ...

Re: What We've Got (Looking Ahead With Current Contracts)

Pettersson is the common denominator of all of this teams demise over the past 2 years.

The next generation does not begin until that malodorous leper gets flushed out of Annacis.

Fuck that guy.

Re: The Petey Predicament

Not sure if he’s playing with an injury, or deep in the doghouse, but Mason McTavish has been playing 4th line minutes for months. Last night he was healthy scratched as the Ducks evened the series in Vegas.

Is Petey for McT straight up doable?

Re: What We've Got (Looking Ahead With Current Contracts)

You don’t need to buy out Hoglander. His salary is a joke, but it’s still below the threshold and he can be waived and sent to the farm with a minimal cap hit. Given the struggles he’s had over the past two years, some time in the minors could do him some good. As for Chytil, why pay him to get lost ...
