Re: Rebooted Around the League - 23/24

So they're not going with "Stormin' Mormans" ? None of those are great names, IMO - and I've never been a fan of 'group' names (Avalanche, Wild) - so most of those put me off right away. "Outlaws" sounds like and ECHL team. Glaciers? :D Yeah, something that move very slowly and is melting away? Swa...

You ever listen to Whit, Portnoy and Minihane on The Unnamed Show?

You sort of have to know Barstool but if you do it's pretty funny shit.
No I haven't Don, but I probably should check it out.

I likely reflects poorly on me as a human but I find Whitney funny sometimes.

Let’s just hope he’s more Guy Lafleur and less Huberdeau, Daigle and Drouin.
I don't know about Lafleur Chef, but I think he's ditched the Drouin/Daigle comparisons.

Re: Rebooted Abby Talk- April, May

I was reading somewhere that KHL teams were interested in bringing Danila Klimovich over to play in Russia. I wouldn't bet against it since he barely played this year and continued to look in over his head when he did play. *forgot to mention Jett Woo among the prospects in Abby this year. He was th...

Sure. I believe so Cuz. I was surprised he didn't get in yesterday. I mean, it's not as if Glover and Zlodeev are crucial to the cause or anything.

Re: Rebooted Abby Talk- April, May

Thanks again Meg - how would your rate the season? Between callups, expectations, etc - is this about what you thought would happen? Thanks to everyone for participating in the Abby forum again this year. For the youngest team in the AHL I think you would have to consider it a good season. Throw in...

Yes, and I think we'll see a few of these guys called up for the rest of the playoff run.

Re: Rebooted Abby Talk- April, May

I didn't watch obviously but it looks like they maybe missed Tolopilo and Silovs tonight. I was a little surprised Lekkerimaki didn't play as the Canucks flew him back from Europe in time for the game but coach Jeremy Colliton opted not to play him. Perhaps he and others get the call to Vancouver as...

Yeh Lindy was great tonight. For all that time people called it a bad trade he's really silenced everyone on that. He fits right in on the team and has been one of our best forwards this playoffs. Doubt we can afford him but wish we could Yep. He just needed to get healthy. Guy is a winner.
