Re: What We've Got (Looking Ahead With Current Contracts)
I think the Pettersson rhetoric is way over the top. He is a top six centre. Overpaid for what he is producing but still a top six centre. And we need those. No indication at all that he is a dressing room problem, all made up. I'm firmly on the side that says you don't trade him unless you get ...

Re: Draft Lottery Destiny
What a pile of burning garbage. All right, option 2. Trade down and grab 2 more picks in the top 10. How far back? I thought after top 3 - 4 the prospects ability to make an influence to the team drops significantly. So if the team wants to be better why would they do that. Is not a top 3 better ...

I don’t care if they have Genghis Khan or Mother Teresa, just get someone who has a plan and can control the owners at least for a few years.

What is considered small?
Is it height and weight?
Is McKenna too small?

Re: Random Hockey Shit
My thoughts are that fighting was in a different era.
Slowly over the past 10+ years the role of an enforcer has been phased out. Teams need all 4 lines to contribute in more ways than just fighting, not saying it’s gone in entirety but not as common. Players like Wilson are rare IMO.

Eby went from "We'll be introducing amendments to DRIPA in the next session" - December to "the vote on amending DRIPA will be a confidence motion"- 2 weeks ago to "the vote on amending DRIPA will not be a confidence motion" - a week ago to "we won't be amending DRIPA" - yesterday BC is no longer ...

Re: 2026 NHL Draft
Watching the playoff games sure strikes how how valuable the big bodies become when you're looking to win games when they matter. Especially if they are mean mutherfuckers who hurt in the corners and in front of the nets Big guys like Slapkoski or Verhoeff seem to become much more important than ...

Re: 2026 NHL Draft
if the Hockey GOds do their normal thing to the Canucks then at picking 3rd over all I am starting to like Malhotra at this position. Center, 6'2" and 183 lbs so not small and can gain that weight. Have to admit that I have not watched any videos on him yet so not sure how he presents himself or his ...

Re: Only 99 days
Thanks Tops, I missed the debate last night. I want a leader who is more concerned about the economy, not necessarily about tax cuts but we can’t run a huge deficit year after year. Government needs to be slimmed and down and agree with the take that it’s a hard sell while running. I want a more eco ...

Re: Just Not ready
So it seems there are 6 candidates for the BC Conservatives.
Who do think has what it takes to manage the party and win the election?
