Re: Trade rumours & armchair pipe dreams 19-20 Sponsored by SKYO

So if we dump Eriksson in the AHL, which I think is the best option right now, how much cap savings would we actually have?

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)

This doesn't fall on Gillis. I think most of the adults understand this. The contracts should have been grandfathered in by the league. Yeah, that really pisses me off. What did the Canucks do to get the ire of the league on this? You know Boston, Toronto or pretty much any other American franchise...

Re: Canucks Contracts

My two cents I have come around on the deal, doesn't mean I love it, but I can live with it. The first is a bit of a steep price to pay and, yes, I would have preferred to see it spend on a quality D man, but I can live with. We don't want to be the new Oilers. I am assuming that Miller gels well wi...

Wtf?! Just 26 grand? That's less than half of what I earn in a year!

What happened to league minimum?
Even worse for him, it was front loaded too.

Re: 2019 NHL ENTRY DRAFT - Vancouver

Miller (6'1", 218lb) put up nearly identical numbers to Bo Horvat (6', 215) until buried in Tampa depth last year. He and Bo are similar size and on similar contracts (Miller is $250K/yr cheaper than Bo with the same # yrs left on his deal). Miller returns to top 6 position he held with the Rags. M...

Is it only miller coming back to us? Not even a 7th rounder with him? Come on Jim.

Re: 2019 NHL ENTRY DRAFT - Vancouver

Like many are saying, can't understand why we gave up the first. At least it is lottery protected I guess. His trades are horrible it seems.

Re: 2019 NHL ENTRY DRAFT - Vancouver

I like this pick. Sounds like he is a skilled mean SOB. I like. We can wait a year or two for him.

Official now, 2 year deal. Not sure on the Average salary yet. Rick Dhaliwal is saying 6 mil per year.

Re: 2019 NHL ENTRY DRAFT - Vancouver

If we are trading Boeser, and I am generally against that, it better be multiple (non lottery protected) 1st rounders coming back plus a useful top 6F or top 4D player.

Always wished we kept McCann instead of him in that trade.
I’m not sure it was an either or for Florida. I think McCann is going to play well in Pittsburgh.
Have read that the Canucks gave Florida the choice between the 2.

Re: 2019 NHL ENTRY DRAFT - Vancouver

I actually have no problem with Beagle's contract. Apparently he trains like a mad man in the off season and takes practice like it is a full blown game. Those are good examples for our young players. Now, we have both Sutter's contract and his. That is a problem. One needs to go and I would trade S...
