Re: GDT - Leaves @ Tanks Jan 31/2026 @ 4:00pm PST SN CBC

That being said, keeping OEL would have been much better than paying him to be elsewhere, then spending a 1st for Meaty. Not sure Mëds would be able to survive two overpaid Swedes in the lineup. Think of that 1st as a salve for our fellow poster's soul. I actually liked OEL. Only thing I hated was ...

Well, if we have to win a game before the Olympics, might as well beat the effing leaves. Kane with a trade me now goal and an assist. I agree with this. One last hurrah before an extended losing streak brings us a top 3 pick . I think they could get a resent return for Kane but top 3 pick? :D

Some bullsit that Tolopilo got robbed of his first 'official' shutout last night. What’s this now? He got pulled by the concussion spotter at the end of the 1st - Lank the Tank had to play 2-3 mins to start the 2nd, which leads to a "Team Shutout" instead of going to an individual goalie's shutout.

That bad eh?

Is it a 3-5 year turnaround? Or a 7-10 year? To get infrastructure/investment etc. down there?

Or is this a pipe dream?

Re: Canucks News N Notes 25-26

Watching the game last night, I took note of the Bluegers-Ohgren-Lekkerimaki line and it was evident the chemistry between Lekk and Ohgren. It will be interesting if coaching and management can trial lining them up with a more skilled young centre and see what they can do as a scoring line. I get ...

Isn't two-tone a benefit?

Wish we had a Truba, Gudas or similar.

Goalie gets run. No reaction. Not even a dirty look.

Sedin!

Saw a headline somewhere, maybe The Athletic - that was a poll on the various NHL arenas. The Garage was near the bottom of that - older building etc, I'm sure - but the ice always seems terrible too. Not like Florida in June terrible, but bad compared to the other northern rinks. Not that I'm ...

My key takeaways are the illusion of choice mattering for voters as well as questioning why the fuck aid is being sent to an economic powerhouse with zero moral fabric in Israel. The revolution talk wasn't anything more than worst case foreshadowing Why do you say Israel lacks moral fabric? I'm ...

That is an excellent point.

The way the price of blueberries are going though, might be Van needing to keep at the cap floor... just sayin.

100% Mgmt. isn't going to trade Chytil: A) No one in their right mind would take a chance on him. B) They have a history of thinking that injuries are behind players, once they return. (IE: Demko) C) Their centre ice depth is so razer thin, and trading Chytil puts them in a serious position of ...

Between Megs and BCE, Van might never win again.

I would love for the two of em to switch hit the GDTs for the rest of the season if they are up for it! Guaranteed last place finish.

I'll never cheer for Calgary, but I can certainly cheer for a Calgary fan! Go BCE!
