That’s right! I remember that now.

I mean you’d have to try if the pin is there when you’re playing.

With the Cap heading to 123m in 2028/29 one would think the current deals we have could be much more palatable!

With Seattle tax issues coming up perhaps sending them someone locked into a longer deal might be attractive.

Wright for Brock all day!

Then let’s chat with Utah about Iggy Jr.

Re: Not so deep thoughts by donlever

I think I understood Tops post on this subject, referring to the two most dynamic players that have been driven out of town I’d have to wager he’s referring to Bure and Hughes. More have been driven to the airport for sure but none near the talent of those two! We could easily go through the laundry ...

Buium is playing so much better without that full face mask. He is skating with confidence again. And still only 20. Lots of upside there For some reason I completely didn’t even put 2 and 2 together and forgot Zeev was taken in the same draft as Tij Iginla. Zeev will be great, also makes sense why ...

Foote isn’t a good coach, I watched him in Kelowna and he couldn’t leave fast enough. But he’s a placeholder, so whatever.

Re: 2026 NHL Draft

Yeah I agree, especially if they continue their pace until the end of the season. Which is where grabbing the 26th or 28th pick could be key. So 32 and 48 for 26th pick. Seattle might be the best target at 26. *yes I’m aware we have the 33rd and 49th but we actually get the 32nd and 48th as Ottawa d ...

Re: So.... who is your 'Playoff' Team?

I guess the term follow to me has some sort of dedication to a single team connotation. Which I quite to fandom really. I guess terminology is fluid. ;) I'm a fan of the Canucks. I follow the Nebraska football team (I check the score after most games) Fair. When it comes to the Canucks being out of ...

Re: So.... who is your 'Playoff' Team?

I'll watch some of the hockey because its the playoffs but I can't bring myself to cheer for any other team. I get this - and that's why I used the term 'follow' I won't be scheduling my life around the playoffs, and it's rare that I actually 'cheer' for a goal, unless it's against some team ...

Re: 2026 NHL Draft

One of the things that made the Sedins special was that they pushed each other. That competition between them that was channeled into them both being better. I’m with You on these two AP…..let’s see if they have the same. Western kids to boot. For sure, and it influenced others on the team as well. ...
