Hopefully the new garbage includes a few empties we can return.

Re: AROUND THE LEAGUE - 26-27
Toronto has made some smart moves. I fear they might be good this year.

They had a front row seat to What Not To Do and learned from it. Same as RJ. They are evolving, and may become sentient even before Skynet does.

Re: Ownership and Management (These fuckin' guys™)
I think the twins were "junior executives " last season. Lots of suggestions, but TFGs ignored good advice. Now, the twins can learn from the bad mistakes made over the past 4 years.

Re: AROUND THE LEAGUE - 26-27
I just went through the FA list. Wow it really is a bad crop. If RJ stays patient I think he will find markets for Pettersson x 2, DeBrusk and potentially Boeser. Drew O’Conner is also drawing interest. While I’d rather keep him and flip him at TDD if the offer is right you move him now. There may ...

Re: Canucks News N Notes 26-27
Gallagher has to find a new number. I guess he wore #11 in Montreal, and of course, we don't use #11 anymore. Sounds like he will go with #73, his rookie number in Montreal.
Has any other team ever "retired" a number because of the absolute hate of the player wearing it?

Re: Canucks News N Notes 26-27
Briesbye, re-signed to 1 year 2 way contract. https://x.com/canucks/status/2072040219814306060?s=46&t=hahx9CseQw_Ts1igZokqEQ Breeze has been such a cool story for this franchise. I hope they give him a scouting job or something when he finally hangs em up. Or, he could be a capologist for the AHL ...

Re: Canucks News N Notes 26-27
Wonder if we can just put Tankinen on waivers? I would be surprised if anyone takes him and if someone actually takes him, they would do us a major solid. Not without his permission. It’s a full no move clause this upcoming season. While there are bigger impact bad signings, I don’t know that I’ve e ...

Re: Canucks News N Notes 26-27
Very brave to pencil Chytil in the line up. Yeah. It makes Blueger at $4x2 look like a great deal. Is there a popliteus in the head, because I think Chytil could easily break his. Pencil might be too permanent for Chytil. Maybe dry erase. The cheap ones that get you buzzed. It is obvious we need ...

Re: Canucks News N Notes 26-27
Can’t wait until 2029 to get a third. I guess the third round in 2027 and 2028 is expected to be weak? Nashville has two pick in the third round in 2027 and 2028, only one in 2029, so the 2029 pick must be more valuable? Is 2029 a particularly deep draft and RJ is already targeting someone in the t ...

Re: Canucks News N Notes 26-27
Gallagher to VAN for futures. Has that been posted here. Would have like to have seen a sweetner. Pretty sure the futures will be a draftee where there’s no expectation of signing or a never-nhl-AHL vet. But not disappointed to have him with the kids next year. I’m not paying the salary. 50% re ...
