We are in no hurry to trade Rossi. He has a good contract, and is an RFA at the end of it. And, he is just 25 this fall. He could be another 1st in 2030, but we need him for the next few years at least, and he is not too old for the rebuild. His next contract will be a good test of RJ's GM skills.

If we really want Brock to implode, we could get him a rescued 7 year old Great Dane. They are ticking time bombs.

Or we can bench them, and play turds like Kampf and Reichel instead. But hopefully RJ learned from Foote what not to do.

I just watched the summer camp 3 on 3. The usual suspects performed well. Cootes had at least 5 goals, with Malholtra and Patterson both with a pair. Novotny and Aaram-Olson also scored. I couldn’t see names or numbers well enough to track assists. But it was fun pond hockey.

Hopefully the new garbage includes a few empties we can return.
