34m Strong chance the Stockton Heat play in Calgary this AHL season. Needs provincial approval, but health officials in California aren’t able to sign off on the Heat playing in their county. If Alberta clears, the Heat are likely sharing Calgary with the Flames.
AHLtv is streaming free this weekend including Comets games Friday and Saturday (upstate NY rival Rochester and bitter rival Syracuse from an hour down the highway.) I'm still undecided about ordering the season package this year for a 35 game mini season and a St Louis Blues dominant Comets roster without even Mikey Dipietro to watch as he languishes in his hotel room here in Vancouver while the Comets play games. Old habits die hard though, we shall see.
Anyone else thinking of following the Comets this year?
1-1 after one in the first of fourteen meetings with the Rochester Amerks. Lockwood was noticeable with his speed. Jett Woo looks to be in over his head at the moment. Focht I didn't notice.
Big period for Kole Lind with the goal. He and Jasek were standouts. Big edge in play for the Amerks.
