Canucks/Moose @ Dallas/Texas Starss! 5:30pm PST SPAC/PPV

Post by Jelly »

Oddly enough, both the Canucks and the Moose will be facing the stars tonight!

Some guys got paid to write a preview so let's use it

Personally, I hope Schneider starts instead of Raycroft, his track record of starting back to back isn't that good, and if we have the kid up here, we might as well play him for god's sake.

Apparently Schneider (the goalie) is in, and Schneider (the defenceman) is out. O'Brien is in. Forward lines are the same as last night. D is expected to be:

Mitchell-Ehrhoff
Salo-Edler
Rome-O'Brien

SOB in probably means we lose 4-2, one empty netter, two PPGA while SOB in the box for trying to kiss Turco or something.

Hang in there Cory - the shelling will stop sometime!

30 shots against in less than 2 periods? Ouch!

SOB in, Canucks lose.

I swear, I called it. Time to hit the road and go home, I'll contribute when I get home.

Hard game to watch... only a couple Canucks playing well... Schneider deserved better support he had a great game. Pettinger and the 4th line looked good ..Edler again sucked along with most of the Canucks. SOB had a good game... drawing a penalty instead of taking one :) Sorry Jelly.. he was one of the few on the team that didn't cough up the puck.. Canucks showed a little life in the 3rd but it was too little .. too late.. most of the shots taken by the Nucks were " desperation " shots from far out... The team looked completely tired out for the first 2 periods..
Nuck fan Since 1970 and still no Cup :(

Schneider was absolutely FANTASTIC. It should have been about 6-2 (with Henrik's goal counting).

Schneider deserved the first star even though he lost. The team looked tired, which they probably were. Nuff said.

Saw the first two periods, yeah Schneider was amazing.

Probably the best performance we've had by a goaltender thus far, actually. Neither of the goals were really possible to stop (Richards went top-shelf pretty quickly).

Don't really think Hank's goal should have counted. You just can't push the goalie into the net and call it a good goal.

He hit the puck which was lying there. It wasn't like it was under Turco or something. But in the paper this morning (sun) they had a quote from Henrik saying he clearly heard the whistle before he put the puck in the net and he knew it wouldn't stand.

Up against the pad. To score it has to go over or under said pad in my books.

That explains it. No one seemed to be putting up much of a stink over it, even initially.
