Pre-Season Games TV Schedule

Post by LotusBlossom »

September 2008
Mon Sep 22, 2008 Canucks Oilers 6:00 PM SNET-P

This is going to be a good long look at Cory Hodgson. I am hearing that he will be playing all three periods and this is where most likely management and coaching staff are going to determine keeping him in the bigs or sending him back to JR. I hope the kid makes it..

Tue Sep 23, 2008 Oilers Canucks 7:00 PM SNET-P
Sun Sep 28, 2008 Canucks Ducks 5:05 PM SNET-P

October 2008
Wed Oct 1, 2008 Flames Canucks 7:00 PM TSN

I am still very iffy about the Canucks' upcoming season considering there isn't a lot of faith coming from all media types, fans and critics alike. I am however very excited about some of our prospects and their potential breakthrough years. I guess we'll all just have to wait and see.

any hope for those of us stuck outside the SPAC reach? Will they be streaming the games like they did the rookie tournament, or no?

I have Center Ice, but that's more for the regular season..I can't tell you to be quite honest.

I checked on center ice, it shows as a game being televised. 2 different channels, depending on your region... I think I am stuck with the crappy oilers feed :-(
The 'Chain of Command' is the chain I am going to beat you with until you understand I am in charge.

Honestly - I just don't know how healthy it is for an 18 year old (especially nowadays) to be playing at the professional level (and yes - Sidney Crosby is a MASSIVE exception here).

In yester-year, when the game wasn't nearly as athletic, etc., I don't think it was such a bad idea. Now? I'm not so sure.

As much as I love Hodgson, I think I might rather see him go back and dominate juniors. In contrast however, it can actually hurt some players that are ready NOW but end up getting sent down (Luc Bourdon?).

The feed's not working tonight for me - anyone else having luck?

Just as well I guess, we're getting out shot 2-1. Don't see Hodgson in the lineup either.
