I see Tocchet moved Miller back to centre today in practice.

Yet another indication Bo gets dealt in my opinion.

Of course Boeser getting dealt is a given...

Awful Announcing
@awfulannouncing

According to Fox 5 DC, the Vancouver "Can-nukes" made a coaching change Sunday. Have to watch out for those Canadian nukes, whether under control of Bruce "Bow-dreau" or Rick "Tew-ket."

Also, Miller talking a lot about being a better leader makes me wonder if maybe he knows something about a Horvat trade.

(hoping to be the next captain?)

Could be my imagination running away with me, but he talked A LOT about it...

The mood really does suggest the writing is on the wall for Bo. Let’s face it, he’s going to bring back the biggest return since Trevor was dealt.

Hitting a couple home runs with Bo and Brock will go a long way to turning this team around in a hurry.

Also, Bo and Brock have played more games for the Canucks over the last half-dozen years than any other skater..

Would trading them both for slightly younger players be considered a rebuild or a retool?

Yeah, that's fair.

Or both, even.

Well both Rutherford and Allvin talked about him being the leader in the room when they were negotiating his deal. Obviously they saw him as the leader.

Likely you’re right Doc.

However one alternate theory is that Miller going to center is so Tocchet can decide if he should tell JR/PA that Bo should stay and Miller go.

Losing Bo would be a massive hole in the middle. If they can’t fill it from within with JT, then maybe that’s what comes of this and Miller is on the move.

I'm not convinced Bo is going anywhere unless he forces it. Toothless mouth that speaks to much hinted at it Sunday and suddenly shut himself up over it.

Ricky hints at it as well in his pregame presser when he talks of seeing if the middle of the lineup is any good.

Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

Watch we end up trading the prized core pieces of our D

- Myers, Stillman, Poolman 🤣

We aren't getting anymore -man or poo- named players in the future

Agreed. JT said the same thing @ the beginning of the season (ie: some of his fave NHLers are good 2-way players, he wants to do the same, blah blah). The proof is in the pudding and we'll see if he changes under Tocchet for the remainder of the season and especially when it counts next season.

I did like of some of Tocchet's talking points though. He said he wasn't exactly talking about JT specifically and whole team in general, but sounded like he was talking about JT.
- "You get in the habit of pacing yourself."
- Tocchet might reduce Miller's minutes on the penalty kill
- "You can't stop backchecking because you're mad at somebody."
- Wants to see more team accountability, if a guy gets off on a lazy change and puts another guy in a tough spot, he wants guys to be pissed @ each other.
