Muzac For Munsters

The primary goal of this site is to provide mature, meaningful discussion about the Vancouver Canucks. However, we all need a break some time so this forum is basically for anything off-topic, off the wall, or to just get something off your chest! This forum is named after poster Creeper, who passed away in July of 2011 and was a long time member of the Canucks message board community.

Is there a more over-the-top show than Rammstein?

My youngest daughter’s boyfriend was there at that concert.
Then two weeks later they both saw Ed Sheeran at the same venue.

He said both concerts were great but totally different.

Björklöven used to play Rammstein’s Wollt Ihr Das Bett Im Flammen Sehen when they took the ice a few years back.
I kind of miss that. They would play the Bumbi Bear Theme for the opponents. Maybe there were complaints.

The Slam Creepers were a Swedish group in the 60’s that won a national competition and got a record deal and some TV and radio exposure.

Their singer, Njörn Skifs, then went on to form a new band called Björn Skifs och Blåblus, but their American label felt that that didn’t work and called them Blue Swede instead. Anyway, they became the first Swedish group to have a Billboard #1 hit,

They failed to act on it though. The American label wanted them to come over right away and go on a tour, but they were already booked throughout the summer in Sweden and did not want to renege on their contracts, so they showed up like six months later, when they were yesterday’s news. They thus became a one hit wonder in the US, but Björn Skifs has had a long successful career in Sweden, and is still performing even though he is in his 70’s now.

Interesting stuff Per, I did not know that.

If it were released today though, the woke folk might cancel them on the spot.

What with all that "Ooga-Chaka Ooga-Ooga, Ooga-Chaka Ooga-Ooga" stuff.

Catchy tune though and who among us hasn't danced around chanting dat dere...

Never mind the bollocks

Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

Ain't no sunshine when she's gone
Only darkness every day
Ain't no sunshine when she's gone
And this house just ain't no home

Yup. Sums it up pretty well. :|
