Found this on Twitter, so true - “McDavid becoming one of the more unlikeable players in the league is an interesting twist. Toews vibe and in the worst way.”Cousin Strawberry wrote: ↑Sun Jan 16, 2022 8:08 am Fuck is it ever a good morning to hear the coilers fans cry like this. They've imploded like never before
The guy has never been a “winner” from junior to now, but wins goal scoring contests, great. It just goes to show you that individual amazingness has fuck all to do with winning

He's got one of those despiseable little screwed up faces that just scream "punch me as hard as you can". If you look at Jonathan Toews and Connor McWhiner they have very similar features
If you need air...call it in

He could use some PR coaching, public speaking and representation lessons on how not to give off the vibe that says you struggle with the desire to converse with the little people of the human race with small talk that you have no interest in doing. Love the camera and microphone like Bieksa and Roenick doCousin Strawberry wrote: ↑Sun Jan 16, 2022 12:15 pm He's got one of those despiseable little screwed up faces that just scream "punch me as hard as you can". They both suffer from a light "touch of the yard"

McDavid: *shrugs* 'it is what it is'
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

“I don’t care what you and some other poster were talking about”

There's only 2 points separating the Alberta teams.....I wouldn't gloat too soon. The only think Calgary has that Edmonton doesn't is in net.
The Sutter system requires fulltime buy-in to have any kind of effectiveness, particularly in the regular season.
If Calgary and Edmonton were to meet in the playoffs I would pick Calgary without question.....but regular season hockey? I'd had to live on the difference between these two teams.

I really don't care that much about whether or not the Flames miss the playoffs. They aren't going far anyway. It would actually be better for them in the long run, if they are not in a playoff position by the trade deadline - then they could trade JG and MT and get a good start on a rebuild or reshuffling of the deck so to speak.Mëds wrote: ↑Tue Jan 18, 2022 10:55 amThere's only 2 points separating the Alberta teams.....I wouldn't gloat too soon. I actually enjoy watching the Oilers fail. I love watching their media blowhards scrambling when they are playing poorly. They go from planning a SC parade to fire and/or trade everyone and tear it all down. It's glorious to watch

Sounds like the local Vancouver media…..except for the parade part. Here they just constantly bitch and want to tear it down. We should add and insert Giants Mike Dyck into our coaching staff. Still not sure what Jason King does.
