Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)
It's time to look at the Pacific standings and see the LA Kings, with their stupid GM who can't draft worth a lick, made a questionable free agent signing in Danault and made a terrible trade to get Arvidsson are sitting in third place eight points ahead of the genius built team. I can't remember who might have said the Kings will be a tough battle along with the Flames for a playoff berth:

2017 - could’ve had Necas or Suzuki - picked Vilardi
2019 - could’ve had Seider, Zegras or Podkolzin - picked Turcotte
2020 - could’ve had Drysdale, Raymond, Stutzle, Quinn, Mercer, Lundell - picked Byfield
2021 - could’ve had Cole Sillinger or traded 1st rd pick for Connor Garland - picked Brandt molasses skates Clarke (who didn’t make this years WJC squad)

And yet with all the blunders Blake has alledgedly made, his team is 8 points ahead of the Vancouver squad that Elmer built.
