Strong effort in nets from Silovs to keep it at 4-0.

It could have been so much worse...

Did you stick it out for the whole game?

Yes, I managed to gut it out all the way to the end somehow.

No guarantees for tomorrow though :(

My brother and his wife left after it was 3-0 or 4-0 and went to the Keg for dinner. Sent me a picture of steak and prawns.

Nice brother, takes his wife out for steak and I have eat before the game and buy him beers since he has the tickets.

Spared buying expensive watered down beers for the bro though for a while then!

Probably better to catch a game when the team looks a little more assembled as well.

Take that money and go treat yourself at the Keg.

Actually, I wouldn't call the Keg much of a treat...

You actually caught a break here. This would have been another awful, uncompetitive, shorthanded game.

I'm relieved that it's cancelled personally.

Will Friday give them enough time to get players back?

Any players heading to the Olympics?

I have no idea. I think the Canucks have helped about as much as they could. Players were lost in several ways, Schilling even signed with a Swedish team right in the middle of the weekend roster crunch.

First of a weekend set tonight vs the Ducks' affiliate down in San Diego.

Looks like Dipietro starts in goal. Rathbone back in action as well, Phil Di Giuseppe returns from covid protocol and the taxi squad.

Petan, Dries, Lockwood, Brubacher and Woo all back as well.

Phil Di Giuseppe puts away a Juulsen rebound after being stopped on a two on one moments earlier.
