In honour of Alain Vigneault, a little Curtis Mayfield.

Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

How is it all these games conflict with my Grey's Anatomy phantasma?

If the team comes out weak like the last game then they will lose again. In the first game I saw TG bring in a more aggressive forecheck where we saw 2 forwards pressing the opposing D. Now we again see 1 forward to the fly by and they allow the opposing team easy out to the middle of the ice.

EP in the last game was falling all over the place, not sure if it is his skates or ice conditions as others seemed to fall as well but there was not a lot of confidence in the lotto line in their skating/passing/scoring. In the last minute of the game TG put that line out there and I wondered why since the entire game we saw little offence from them.

I want to see Green fire up the team as much as a coach can, hope to see hard skating and lots of pressure on Philly.

Preview from a flyers site: LINK
when the Boston College product is otherworldly, Vancouver finds victory, but anything less than that usually means disaster with Jim Benning’s haphazardly assembled defensive corps.
The ‘Nucks rank last in the league in 5-on-5 xGF% behind the dismal Blackhawks and Coyotes, sit at eighteenth in 5-on-5 CF%, and stack up poorly by GF% too at even strength.
Edit (add):

Brendan Batchelor @BatchHockey

Power play units at morning skate

PP1: Pettersson, Horvat, Miller, Hughes, Chiasson
PP2: Boeser, Garland, Höglander, Pearson OEL

are those an indicator of coaching or players?

Right now, I'd say a little of both, as the players aren't clicking at all - no matter what system they're attempting.

A no grit line-up causes players to get spooked away from the rough stuff.
No one to back them up if they want to cross the line. :scowl:
