Trade the pick, Wizard. This class stinks as bad as SKYO’s homemade salmon candy
If it is so bad then why would any other GM give up assets?

Just like this season the 2021 draft will be interesting to see how the players develop.
Fingers you may need to join Doyle at Colony Farms as well, you’re gettin’ bat shit crazier the older you get
Not really
Yes really. You’re bat shit crazy

Hey Doyle if you had a choice between the American - Luke Hughes, the Swede - Edvinsson or the two Canadians - Powers and Clarke, who you picking?

Owen Power seems like he plays like Myers a bit. I like the Clarke kid, he has an edge. I’m going on YouTube videos. I haven’t seen much of the Swedish kid but I’ve heard he’s a good player. Luke Hughes looks damn good. Good bloodlines for sure. There will be a nice young player to add to the core for Vancouver

I really like Brandt but that Edvinsson kis sure looks like an elite level dman, maybe an OEL type.

I’m not liking reading that Power is notorious for brain farting often during a game. That will get highlighted in the NHL. Power strikes me as a Tyler Myers. Apparently he’s a big softie. I prefer other 3. First choices would be Clarke and/or Edvinsson. Luke is apparently the least talented of the Hughes Bros

If we end up picking around the 7yh to 11th range I wouldn't mind Cole Sillinger if he's still available. A little young to jump right on the team, (well, who knows), but a high quality center would be helpful.

Ville Koivunen, a top Finnish prospect for the 2021 NHL Draft, has won the Yrjö Hakala Award as Rookie of the Year in the U20 SM-sarja.
Ville Koivunen, a top Finnish prospect for the 2021 NHL Draft, has won the Yrjö Hakala Award as the rookie of the year in the U20 SM-sarja, the league announced on Thursday.

The Karpat U20 forward finished his season with 23 goals, 26 assists, and 49 points in 38 games. That total placed him third in the league and led Karpat U20. His 23 goals were second in the league and his 26 assists were ninth overall.

Recent recipients of this award include Kaapo Kakko (2018), Miro Heiskanen (2016), and Sebastian Aho (2014). In addition, Koivunen was named to the league’s Second All-Star Team.

“He’s a stocky and feisty winger who goes into the dirty areas and isn’t afraid to get chippy after the whistle,” FCHockey’s head crossover scout Derek Neumeier wrote in a recent scouting report. “He’s a smart player who shows a very good understanding of how the play is unfolding and where he needs to be to influence it. Has poise and vision when the puck is on his stick.”

Koivunen’s point total led all 2021 NHL Draft-eligibles in the U20 SM-sarja as well, with his goal and assist totals both finishing second.

Never mind Shane Wright in 2022, Conor Bedard is leading the WHL in scoring as a rookie. Just 15 years old ffs. 8 goals 11 assists in 10 games. We might have to start a 2023 NHL Entry Draft just to keep tabs on this kid.

Interesting note - 2021 projected lottery puck - Dylan Guenther is 2nd in scoring behind Connor Bedard with 9 goals and 9 assists in 9 games

Is 2021 draft class better than Chef thinks? Doyle? Thoughts?
