Some of us had said this for a while. Good to see you’ve caught up
Chef is also often out shot because he's too slow.

Missed the game. Caught the highlights.

Demko is making a case for the long term contract. Hughes with no points and Pete still sidelined. It's Demko's team now. :P

Honestly, ugly. The SOG stats and what a few comments here are saying.....Canucks are way too slow to compete in the NHL right now.

Our first goal. Wow. Dirtiest garbage goal I've seen since Otto kicked it in.

Nice to get a ugly goal for once lol.

Myers play has pretty rock steady the last few weeks, capped off with a blaster tonight the game winning goal, his 4th goal of the season, 14pts on the season so far.

People will be buying some Demko jersey's from here on out.
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

Post-game; Thatcher Demko..4:17, Sure gives his team mates plenty of credit. Very humble. Getting more comfortable with the interviews.
Really impressed with how he minimizes his movements on saves by reading the shots so well. Looks like he'll be able to carry a heavy workload.
That's good, we're going to need it..

Post-game; Tyler Myers and Bo Horvat..4:94, Myers talking about his 300th career point and Bo about his rather different push as hard as you can goal. Very up-beat tonight.

Post-game Travis Green..4:22, Like his team's performance. Thought Myers and Benn worked well together. Doesn't really thing of the group as very offensive team even with Pettersson in the line-up. Have to play gritty hockey to win. Says they did a good job denying their break-outs.

Great to see the Canucks beat the most hated team in the universe (well, at least in my universe).  8-)

Above and below 500:

Leaves +11
Jets +9
Oilers +6
Habs +4
Flames +1
Canucks -3
Senators -11

Good results tonight. Still seven back of the Habs. The Canucks are likely done. They’ll need to sweep the back-to-back games against the Habs next week to have any chance. Games against the Habs will be the main reason the Canucks miss the playoffs. If they have a miracle run and make the playoffs, Demko will be in the running for the Vezina. Jets sneaking up on the Leaves. Go Jets Go! (Except when you play the Canucks)

The one factor to consider is that all these teams have sucked at times and are one or 2 injuries away from a skid. Nobody is running away from the pack

Its a longshot yes but not a rediculous one

Ridiculous first twenty game schedule for the Canucks. That was bullshit. It isn't easy to come from behind. Green could have done better with the game preps but I doubt we'd be that much better off at this point.
Fine to say, "Hey, the second half is easier" but when your buried, the mind set is rotten.

You can't blame the lack of efforts and heart on the schedule. Yes it was ridiculous but the Canucks seemed like bunch of beer leaguers
