Two weeks is 9 games, 9 games is one-sixth of a 56 game season.

One-sixth of an 82 game season is 14 games.

Being out 2 weeks this year is like being out 5 weeks in a normal season.

But yeah, we all knew injuries would be yuge this year...

Further rumours indicate it may be less than 2 weeks without them. One had 2 alrernating positive and negative quick tests and the other was a precautionary contact situation. Which one is which is not clear

Okay, Jake in the top six. Time to make us proud.... or at least play tough defence while Petey and Brock light it up.

Will RW’er Jake Virtanen ever man up and scrap LW’er Matthew Tkachuk???

I say no, he’s too chicken

They're just being careful like they have to.

Jim Benning interview -on Sportsnet 650am -https://twitter.com/Sportsnet650/status ... 4533903360 Just doing what they need to.

Richard Zussman @richardzussman
I am told one of these two players tested positive for COVID, then negative, then positive again and when tested a fourth time tested negative. The other is a close contact.

He's talking about Benn and Miller. All the players have been pretty close at camp. No avoiding it!

Is Hoglander still with the team? I ask because at least he is in game shape and this might be his opportunity to step up in JT's absence. Not replacing what Miller brings but being effective in the top 6.

Hasn't Benning introduced at least one rookie into the lineup every year he has been GM? This year Juolevi and Hoglander and Rathbone could play this year. Next the Pod.

Has Demko played enough games that he is not considered a rookie anymore?

easy to see Hamonic's job will be to protect Hughes.

Utica bound players can stick with the Canucks until January 20. That from Benning's radio interview.

AHL training camps scheduled to start the 25th. Still lots of time to move bodies around.

Garbage comment from Brock Boeser throwing shade at Jake Virtanen. “If Jake is going to be on our line, we’ve got to be more responsible defensively “

Yes, Brock because you are such a great two way player. Learn to keep your mouth shut. :scowl:
“I don’t care what you and some other poster were talking about”
