Maybe that's been his issue this whole time!

I was going to find an old sitcom reference to a bad kid needing glasses, but I'll leave that to resident archivist, Megatorio!

Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

You've stumped me, no idea what that's from!

I was channel surfing a few nights ago and found a re-run of Dean Martin's celebrity roast - sure enough, your avatar was up there on stage sweating, smoking and drinking and chortling under those hot lights of the MGM Grand. If it weren't for this forum, I never woulda recognized him!

Brendan Batchelor @BatchHockey
"When I first saw it, I was a little bit nervous. They're two really good hockey players and good guys." - Nils Hoglander on his reaction to skating with Horvat and Pearson.

We don't have that many days. You just have to do your best and see what happens.
Hoglander on starting his season in Sweden: It's a help of course. I had a good first 22 games back in Sweden. I came here with good self confidence

Hoglander on playing with Horvat and Pearson: It feels good. It's just the first day at the camp, but I will do my best to be a top six guy.
great enthusiasm - always a good thing.

Damn, you saw Bill Conrad on a Dean Martin Roast? You gotta alert somehow the next time something like that happens ESQ!

By the way, the kid is 'Ernie' from the classic tv sitcom My Three Sons. Typical all American tv family of the 50s-60s era. Fred McMurray as the dad along with three adopted 'sons,' no wife, and a weird old bachelor 'uncle' Charlie the male manservant.

It was all very wholesome ;)

The themes back then tended to be snappy:

There were reports that he spent time training with Myers in kelowna. Lets hope he didnt rejoin the worst posse ever for more butter chicken benders
Expect to see a new JV, comes in at a good weight and ready to make the top 6.
Bartender, I'll have what he's having.
Better than being a Debbie Downer.

The best thing for this team is a JV that can play third line and move up to top 6 when required.
Buddy I think you misunderstood.
Ah - OK this is what I have been having lately.

Sometimes Fred would bring a lady home to the house and old Uncle Charlie would turn beet red and get all flustered and start running around the kitchen like a chicken with it's head cut off to the amusement of the boys.

This was back before Hollyweird came out of the closet.
