TV Shows: What are you watching?

The primary goal of this site is to provide mature, meaningful discussion about the Vancouver Canucks. However, we all need a break some time so this forum is basically for anything off-topic, off the wall, or to just get something off your chest! This forum is named after poster Creeper, who passed away in July of 2011 and was a long time member of the Canucks message board community.

The Walking Dead is good but they better develop the show because just barley avoiding death has been ok for seven episodes but it’s going to take more than that to keep me interested. I want character and plot development because the screwdriver in the zombie’s eye is going to get boring in a hurry.

IMO, they have to get to a large number of people and go on the offensive because this is already getting boring.

What the fuck was that creepy shit going on at the end of Dexter last nite!?!

I watched the pilot for The Walking Dead yesterday... I was surprisingly impressed, but I just can't stand watching AMC and as a result, likely won't watch it again. Is it on another channel?

Yeah, I enjoy a good beheading or a headshot, but things will quickly get boring unless some new characters are introduced. I already can't wait for Shane and Andrea to leave or die because I'm bored with them. I'm assuming the person that shot Carl and the deer is from a different group of survivors so we'll see where that goes. Hopefully Carl isn't dead because I like having kids on the show and it looks like he's going to grow up a lot in this season.

with both A Game of Thrones and Breaking Bad between seasons, I'm hunting for the next thing to watch. DL'd a couple Walking Dead episodes but we still have some left over Nurse Jackie and Burn notice on the back burner. (which reminds me, i think i should be Sam Axe for Halloween). I should really take the plunge and start watching the Wire like ive planned for so long. Winter is Coming, so I won't have summer activites to fill my evenings any more.

All I can really say is that this Chris Hansen dude is a total cockblocker.
Last night saw him catching dishonest tradesmen.

Caulkblocker?

Amen bos; but I recently tried that "you won't be disappointed" line on a fellow downloader/pirater at my kids school. She's almost through the first season and is just not impressed at all. "It's too slow... blah blah blah... I can't get into the characters"

I don't think I want my kids playing with her kid anymore. The stupid may just rub off and infect my children.

:P

That's not the first time I've heard that, Eddy. I think 'The Wire' is more of a guy show.

I'll let you know how my wife likes it. I'm referring to the show of course.

I really like The Office. I am particularly fond of the new Robert California character, although Michael Scott was awesome as well.

I feel so strongly about these two characters that I almost started an individual thread about them... even though the TV Shows thread was clearly visible at the top of the main page! Honestly, I doubt anybody would have responded even if I had.

Boy, that would have been really stupid if I'd done that.

Yep, it's been great so far.

I think Nucky's brother is going to be the first regular character axed.

Boardwalk officially rules. Richard's trip to the forest, Nucky bitchslapping his pisstank little brother, the lesson Jimmy teaches the old Indian-killer...

What a gruesomely awesome episode. And it's already been renewed for season 3!
