Is that his hair hanging out the sides of Fortier's helmet?

I would have to concur ESQ. That's gotta be a bushy Dave Fortier disco dew sprouting out of that Jofa helmet in my estimation.
I think Fortier's doo would have been more protective than the mostly cosmetic Jofa

^^^Mick, are you sure that's Cesare in nets and not backup 'Bones' Bromley?
Here's early sixties Canucks captain, the speedy center Larry Popien, proudly wearing the classic early sixties Johnny Canuck sweater...

A jubilant Canucks championship team gathering around the Lester Patrick Cup after their final WHL game. They could not have imagined at the time that the team was about to embark on a half century drought as champions.
These guys were winners.

My favourite of the images passed along from the Polygon Gallery, however, is this oddball shot from 1972 by photographer Dan Scott. It features the Canucks’ Rosaire Paiement being hypnotized by Peter Reveen, known as “Reveen the Impossibilist.”

in to a complete and utter cluster fuck in front of the local fans on hand.
