Virtanen was the goat of this game. He seems to be as smart as a bag of hammers.

That could have something to do with the fact most top 19-yr-olds aren't allowed to play in the AHL.

Like the aforementioned Virtanen and McCann?

Also, Nylander is to small and frail to play in the NHL.

Last week he sustained the first of likely many concussions.

Not to burst your bubble ole pal, but you've got to face it: the guy is a weenie!

BTW he's 2nd in AHL scoring and dropping...

I don't think the team could have done anything else with Virtanen.. Had to keep him up with the big team. It's a fault that teams are not allowed an age exception on their farm teams. If he could have been sent to Utica, he probably would have. But he wouldn't have developed with another year in Calgary.. Jake is nothing more than a victim of the day his parents banged, nothing more.

And Rummy, you need to take a chill pill.. Power forwards traditionally take longer to develop. Neely and Bertuzzi did not develop overnight. Cut the kid some slack.

Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

They should put him under the tutelage of Haley Wickenheiser.

John Scott did it. I knew we should have claimed him. Could've tried him out with the Sedins in the 3-on-3.

Drouin wants out of Tampa. Attitude problem or a talent that never got a chance?

Hmmm, big gamble there. They won't give him away all the while do you want to part with the grade A assets required to land a player who's nhl career/game is in the balance? Montreal should jump all over this, aren't they looking for top 6 forwards. Juulsen and Tinordi as trade bait?

Drouin's agent confirms they formally requested a trade in November but now feel Tampa has not made a serious effort to move him. He is now going public with his demands. Stevie should have taken Seth Jones.

Given that we need scoring I'd consider a Virtanen-Drouin swap.

Jagr on his All selection:

"I asked the fans don't vote for me; they didn't listen,'' Jagr said. “I think they don't like me much. They want to see me dead."

"Fans - I appreciate your votes for All-Star game, but 3 on 3 would kill me and I don't want to die yet :) Thank you for understanding. Too old :)"

I would prefer to flip one of our AHL prospects (Jensen, Shinkaruk, or even Cassels) and a pick or roster player.

Drouin on a line with Virtanen down the road could be scary good.....or scary bad given their defensive track record thus far.
