Re: 2020 NHL OFFSEASON
It will be disastrous for Blob seeing Olli succeed. But he will come around eventually just like he did with Benning

Does Doyle hate Finnish defensemen? He wasn't complimentary whatsoever towards Lumme or Salo...2 very successful Finnish Canuck d-men.
Why do you hate them Doyle?

Re: 2020 NHL OFFSEASON
I won’t be surprised if the top four is broken up and one prospect is in the top four and one is in the bottom six especially early in games. Benn could still end up being the seventh defensemen.
Myers or Schmidt with Hughes on the top pair
Myers or Schmidt with Juolevi or Rathbone on the second pair
Rafferty or Chatfield with Edler on the third pair
Benn with Juolevi, Rathbone, Rafferty, Chatfield, Brisebois, or Sautner as the extra pair.
Late in tight games they could put their top four together.
Myers Hughes
Schmidt Edler
Back to back games they might want to rest a prospect and give some load management to Edler.
Depending who wins jobs game one of a back-to back could be:
Myers Hughes
Schmidt Juolevi
Raffety Edler
Spares Benn and Rathbone
Game two
Myers Hughes
Schmidt Juolevi
Benn Rathbone
Spares Raffety and Edler
Lots of possibilities to explore with all the prospects they have had cooking in Utica. No rush to sign anymore defensemen unless management is certain they will end up being a long term addition that will improve the team significantly over what the prospects will provide. Perhaps Benning doesn’t see any UFAs that he thinks would meet that criteria and doesn’t want to add an expense that will not be a significant improvement to the team. Can’t blame him if there are no fans in the stands generating revenue. If management can’t find a solution from their prospects, they could add a defensemen at the trade deadline from a team that is out of the playoffs and can’t protect all their defensemen for the expansion draft. Since so many short contracts have been signed this off-season there could be a lot of trade deadline players available.

It’s in much my esteemed professional opinion, and can confidently put out there my astute observation tenured in my many years toiling the boards of CC that without question - Doyle is an Anti-Finnite

I was speaking to a Finn friend of mine today and apparently the poor Finns experience more than their fair share of anti-finnite prejudice.Chef Boi RD wrote: ↑Sun Nov 01, 2020 10:41 am It’s in much my esteemed professional opinion, and can confidently put out there my astute observation tenured in my many years toiling the boards of CC that without question - Doyle is an Anti-Finnite

Yeah it’s a major problem in our society and Blobbee quite obviously is an anti-Finnite. I wish Blobbee could find it in him to judge Olli not through his blind hate and prejudice but through just his game. The Brown Wizard wrote: ↑Sun Nov 01, 2020 2:44 pmI was speaking to a Finn friend of mine today and apparently the poor Finns experience more than their fair share of anti-finnite prejudice.Chef Boi RD wrote: ↑Sun Nov 01, 2020 10:41 am It’s in much my esteemed professional opinion, and can confidently put out there my astute observation tenured in my many years toiling the boards of CC that without question - Doyle is an Anti-Finnite

Yeah the Finns get a bad rap - sometimes referred to as the hillbillies of Nordic country, or more Russian than Nordic, boozers yes they are known to be, as Blob would claim “there is only one boozer allowed in this house and that is me!” I guess it’s a territorial thing. The Brown Wizard wrote: ↑Sun Nov 01, 2020 3:43 pm Finns are world famous pisstanks just like him so maybe its a hatred born in jealousy that drives Doyle into this rage
