Canucks 2020 Draft Summary
Joni Jurmo - STATS
Jurmo's projectable 6-foot-4 frame and smooth-skating lend itself to covering large swaths of ice and carrying the puck from one zone to the next sometimes effortlessly. His speed makes him one of the best puck-rushers in the Finnish U20 league. He accelerates well when he's already in motion and is a deceptive skater in the neutral zone with crossovers and changes of pace
---------------------------------------------
Jackson Kunz - STATS
His hand-eye is excellent, and his balance in front of the net is so strong. Kunz really shows an understanding of his game and where he needs to go to be successful. His passing ability is evident. Kunz's willingness to get to high danger areas makes him so dangerous. His shot is heavy, and he possesses a quick release.
---------------------------------------------
Jacob Truscott - STATS
Truscott uses great edge work and mobility to find great passing options and exits from his own end of the ice. One can take solace in the fact that Truscott is a technically skilled passer who can thread the needle in all three zones -- even if he doesn't leverage that often enough to be an impact player, proof of concept exists.
---------------------------------------------
Dmitry Zlodeyev - STATS
Dmitri Zlodeyev is a player who gives it his all on every shift. While he may not be as well-known as some other prospects coming out of the MHL, he still impressed this past season playing for MHK Dynamo Moskva. In 42 games played, he managed to score 12 goals and added 16 assists for 28 points to go along with 45 minutes in penalties.
While looking at his stats, some people may expect Zlodeyev to be a physical player but he does not use his body like some scouts wish he would. While he has decent size, Zlodeyev does not do well along the boards and is usually outmuscled in a one on one situation. If he can learn to use his body to his advantage, it will certainly become a positive in his game but at this point, it takes away from his overall game down low.
---------------------------------------------
Viktor Persson - STATS
There is so much more to Persson's game offensively than his point totals would indicate. A big part of his success comes from his abilities as a distributor. He makes good calls on when to join the rush or play with a more passive posture. Persson maintains a high work rate, with active feet and smart skating patterns, ensuring he's always open to receive a pass.

Seems to be fair cupboard stockers corn
Silence intelligence so stupid isn’t offended….
Re: Canucks 2020 Draft Summary
Yep, I don't see anyone doing much here for a few years, so they're just names to follow for now. But if the big guys can make some progress, I'd be happy.

We may not have added any assholes, but Stangelove will like it that we have Kunz on our team now.

Imagine those two together on the same line banging away all the walls. The Coxe and Kunz reign of terror would have lived in infamy.

Who is the center if those are the wings?
The 'Chain of Command' is the chain I am going to beat you with until you understand I am in charge.

Perhaps move Per Djoos in the middle to give it some tractionCarl Yagro wrote: ↑Wed Oct 07, 2020 10:56 pmIt's got to be an Aho in the middle.Hockey Widow wrote: ↑Wed Oct 07, 2020 10:48 pmYa, it can't be Rathbone.Madcombinepilot wrote: ↑Wed Oct 07, 2020 10:44 pmMy mind shudders to ask, but like a good train wreck, you follow through:Megaterio Llamas wrote: ↑Wed Oct 07, 2020 9:03 pmImagine those two together on the same line banging away all the walls. I was thinking we could maybe throw a second line of Aho between Pecker and Bill Butters.
