I will always be bitter, losing this round. It was ours! We were destined to carry into the third round. (which was really like a fourth).
We were cheated twice. The first time the cancellation for blm that was supposedly our idea but the only evidence,

played on Saturday instead of Friday. Mr. Aquilini got GM Jim Benning to lobby the league for this but were denied. The Canucks thought the
ice surface would be far superior with the full set time. That was the reasoning.

This was a Cinderella run the Canucks were on. One that I was really believing the Cup was ours to win. Woulda been maybe too.
The freaking horse race is not a good enough excuse to have used to deny the Cancuck approval on their request. We would have won...
