His wife and father have released the autopsy of his death, he died from an overdose of cocaine and fentanyl.

He was crazy but passionate about the Canucks and I like that he took on Toronto media from time to time ha.
Didn’t botchford idolize the shanaplan? Much like our very own Doyle?
I advocated trading veterans for picks and not signing veteran placeholder scrubs to anything longer than 2 or 3 year deals. This administration feels the veteran placeholder scrubs deserve 4 to 6 year deals.

I have no idea what Botchford idiolized. At the end of the day Quinn and Petey are the reasons Elmer still draws a pay check in this market.

But hey “Shanaplan” and all that

Yes, I noticed it too thinking back. Doubtful imho he realized he was taking fentanyl.

Get that shit tested brothers.

He was foaming at the mouth his last little while on 1040, I knew something was up with his passing, not surprised to be honest. It was the coke habit that put him at Fentynals door, he sounded like a coke head on air
It’s always cool to pile on a guy after he’s dead.

Well most of us were piling on Botch while he was still alive.

Personally I've been biting my tongue since he passed.

Yeah, just say something something about Blob's weight, height and ozone-like bald spot so Wiz can stop beating off and start a new GDT.

Jesus Mick.. way to start a narrative..

You know NOTHING of this guys personal life. Hate his coverage of the team, sure. I have no problem with that.

But the guys life ended in tragedy, no need to pile on and try and wreck his past as well with a bunch of clips that YOU feel adds to your version of HIS story. That’s total bullshit, bush league rumour starting shit. Cut it out. Have some respect for the guys family, because they are the only ones who are affected by this kinda thing now.

Do better.

Yeah me too. It’s a tragedy what happened to him no doubt, I lost a nephew to a drug overdose so it’s a touchy subject for me, but I wasn’t a fan of Botchford, I don’t think there is anything wrong with admitting that. I also don’t think there is anything wrong with saying “not being surprised by his cause of death”. I had my suspicions.

It wasn't meant to be disparaging. I liked his style, particularly in those days and when he reported while being THE guy who got to ride with
the team on their trips.

Listen Doylez did I not say his passing was sad? He left a young family behind who will go the rest of their young lives without their father. All I was saying is I can’t lie I wasn’t a fan of Botch especially the last couple years. There is a reason why Botch is considered a god at HF.

“He sounded like a cokehead on air”

Who knows how often the guy was using? It only takes once to hit a bad batch and end up tits up.

Between yours and Gohmert’s comments you guys were pretty plugged into his lifestyle and habits.

So the recent clean-up is on track? Must be. So angry.
