Blues now on a 5 game losing streak, can they flip the switch?

They've burned alot of energy getting to 0-2. A couple more sketch goals on whining-ton and they'll start looking to the exits me thinks

Without a full season to get into fighting shape it has to take its toll on some of those lumbering bodies over there

8:02 minutes of penalty calls and replays of in just game two.

What about all the ones they missed? Particularly, Blues running Canuck numbers. :wow:

If they start calling things more evenly, and with the Canucks having last change for line matching, Game 3 could get away from the Blues rather quickly. Getting the Pettersson line away from O'Reilly could tilt the ice further.

Now's a great time to get a few goals from their bottom six and every one of those guys really deserve it but we're especially overdue for a little Shotgun. A MacEwen goal would be a nice reward after the way he dropped the mitts and went after Sanford with malice. Dude was throwing bombs.

How will Meyer's ice time be allocated?

What are their options?:
-move Fantenburger to Right side, insert Juolevi
- add Benn w/ no practices

Benn is too slow. My guess is Green will try Olli. May even try Rafferty before Benn. ???

hope it's just a freakin bruise.

Benn is supposedly better on the right side. He is more physical and may punish the Blues more. If he looks up to speed, try him in the first game of the back-to-backs. If he isn’t go with Juolevi in game three and come back with Benn in game four if they lose game three.

Play to your strengths not the opponents. The canucks need to continue to push the pace to escape the cycle and forecheck.

Inserting a plodding dman like Benn over OJ is a mistake. Jew-levi has shown some slick abilities. Its worth a game at least to see how he looks

Oh but you know what one win can do to the psyche of a team on a losing streak and a Champ team that hasn't felt a win in 5 months. One can turn into a bunch in a hurry. This is why I stress the importance of the next game as being the biggest for this group..and probably most important game for the franchise since G7 2011 finals.

Remember how good we felt about the 2002 team up 2-0 against the Wings? All it took was one big fuckin' blunder. Though feels similar, I have a better feeling about these boys. I liked how we overcame a few bad blunders already.

Well if Green is going to shorten his bench and not roll four lines then dress both Juolevi and Benn?
