Yes and in a great PR move he is offering to replace any old Nylander jersey for the new one. All fans have to do is take the old one back for the exchange. I think this is a solid move on his part.

Coyotees will be in Houston by then. Book it.RoyalDude wrote: ↑Tue Jul 16, 2019 6:19 amDon’t stress, you got him for 5 seasons, he will be in Arizona after those 5 seasons and Tavares will be 34 years old going on 35.BigTuna wrote: ↑Tue Jul 16, 2019 6:03 amConnor Brown was knocked here many times. The future looks dark for the Toronto Tea Leaves (smallest team in the league). Oh and Tavares turns 29 in September and Matthews will be playing in Arizona when he’s 26
Drop the Arizona fantasy. Matthews wants to win. Toronto will offer him a crazy contract a year before and he'll sign it,

I love how you are now praising guys that you crapped on when they were with the leaves.Strangelove wrote: ↑Mon Jul 15, 2019 7:55 pmShould they give up a 1st to dump their big bad contract like your Leaves did?BigTuna wrote: ↑Mon Jul 15, 2019 7:46 pmLOL Canucks have 5 million in cap space right now. The Leaves are losing a lot of depth as they burn in Cap Hell.
Should they dump their entire 3rd line and three 20+ minute dmen like your Leaves did?
Oh wait, they don't have to resort to such desperate measures...
Leaves are gonna miss the playoffs buddy, time to get off the bandwagon.
Leaves got worse this off-season, Canucks got better...
Patrick Marleau is addition by subtraction and you know it. I said it over and over all year how bad he was. leaves are better. The D is far better.

Love how you went all "i am the wizz" last season right until your team imploded pretty well exactly where 99% of this board predicted it would and then you evaporated in shame like you do EVERY YEAR when your shitty team does its shitty thang...like clockwork.
Its one of my personal highlights of this internet thing... Laughing at how pathetic leaves teams and leaves fans are....year in and year out.

Glad you used the singular there...dont you only have 1 single NHL dman now? Gonna run it like a powerplay are they?BigTuna wrote: ↑Tue Jul 16, 2019 7:37 amI love how you are now praising guys that you crapped on when they were with the Leaves.Strangelove wrote: ↑Mon Jul 15, 2019 7:55 pmShould they give up a 1st to dump their big bad contract like your Leaves did?BigTuna wrote: ↑Mon Jul 15, 2019 7:46 pmLOL Canucks have 5 million in cap space right now. Uh, no Rielly and Muzzin are still on the team. Dermott will be back within 6 weeks, there's CEci and Lilljegren can crack the team.Uncle dans leg wrote: ↑Tue Jul 16, 2019 7:51 amGlad you used the singular there...dont you only have 1 single NHL dman now? Isn't it ironic that you guys go on and on for years about the leaves cap and yet Vancouver is in worse shape?

Re: The Official CC "All Thing Leaves" thread
Well since our cap projection is based upon 24-26 players we will be fine when the roster is reduced. We will tight against the cap once Boeser is signed and roster reduced no question. But we have more than enough to get it done.
Every year over the next three years big contracts come off the books and ELC’s slowly expire over that period with younger guys on ECL’s are ready. Luongo’s cap recapture will be done by then. Spooners buyout will be done by then.
We’ve always run tight to the cap. We’ve always managed. And to date we haven’t had to give up a first, or any other pick for that matter. We haven’t had to give up roster players or assets. We may have to this year, we will see.
No question with all the great young talent we have Benning will have to manage the cap better. He’s seen what’s happened to teams like the leaves when you don’t.
But don’t worry about us Tuna. Anything we may lose will be ok.
