Much appreciated.
Well it was a cut and paste from Carol Schram. I take no credit.
And humble. This is what makes you awesome.

It was still nice to read without all the crap!
The 'Chain of Command' is the chain I am going to beat you with until you understand I am in charge.

Relax Karen.

Must be nice to have an ego so large that you think a compliment for someone else had anything to do with you.

Yes they are Beach, as in ball.
At 10:37 AM yesterday. Before the time on the links I saw last night when I got back. So it's good they'll have their own people there.
Still, a very complex procedure. We'll see how this pans out. I suspect there will be a some dismay from a few on the proposed guide-lines.
We'll see, Doyle, we'll see.

There have been rumours of a pay per view format for this thing....what about those of us who have center ice/gamecenter and already paid for the season?

I can only assume we would get access but cable/satellite customers who only pay local access-ie splortsnet..would have to buck up. Will CBC run all the games like usual?

No way there will be extra charges. They have a commitment that hasn't been fulfilled. Nothing should change. No clue on satellite but
we and a neighbor have talked to both Telus and Shaw and neither have heard of any proposed extra monies to be charged to residential
clients if the NHL or the NBA get going.
If, by chance that changes and they attempt to gain back what they've lost, customers will drop away. Disaster to the sport in the long run.

More news coming shortly;;;
Pierre LeBrun@PierreVLeBrun
From the NHL: ``National Hockey League Commissioner Gary Bettman will make an announcement today at 4:30 p.m. ET regarding the Return to Play Plan for the 2019-20 NHL season.''
So this is to announce the 24-team format agreement the NHL/NHLPA have signed off on.

Pierre LeBrun@PierreVLeBrun
Again, let me repeat myself, the format is just the first step. So many more hurdles to overcome, more negotiations needed between NHL/NHLPA over hub cities, testing, protocols... the format is just Step 1. No guarantee yet the 2019-20 season is completed despite best intentions

I wonder if it will just be the players and one coach allowed. Nobody else. He will be busy dealing with the players, washing gear, taping sticks, sharpening skate blades, tending to injuries, etc

If we beat the Wild, we are out of the lottery and our pick goes to NJ.
If we lose we are in the lottery, and the pick belongs to us?

So technically we haven't made the playoffs?

Does this sound correct?

Time to scout the Wild and analyze how they'll prepare to beat the canucks.

A quick glance at their lineup tells me they'll obviously try to beat the piss outta Pettersson and Hughes so...what is the counter for that? Do you sub Ferland or Macewen onto the top line 5 on 5 or do you hope the powerplay sorts out the cheap shots (not again.... :scowl: )? Myers with Hughes?
