Great game by Demko. :)
Could easily have been 10-4 for the Isles. He did play extremely well.

Don't tell Rats I said so..... :look:

Between *ratpower* and the sacrifice, there was never a doubt, right?

That islander team is way better than their record shows. Bad goaltending.

Canucks really dug deep and hung on but still won it.

The team will need a serious boost to that back end this summer. Fatburger has hit the wall, Myers looked like pretty bunk.

Loved Millers passion and second effort all over the ice.

Demko...why does he look so small now? His pads look like ball hockey pads or something

I believe the sacrifices need to continue until morale improves, or the shots against go down.

Demko has two weaknesses right now.....

He doesn't read shots from the slot well and often gets beat cleanly.

His coverage on the post when the puck is down low leaves a gaping hole over his shoulder.

These are both things that Markstrom has worked on and improved in his game.

I notice we havent heard much out of the Demko or Markstrom debate of late. I suppose the masses have reached a predictable verdict.

Skyo...what say you? Still ready to put the keys to the kingdom into the kids hands?

I think not!

Demko is the future, this is his first real season so he's getting battle tested with not much defensive help (49 shots against!!!!) wow

Remember a lot of rising top goalies typically get a couple years of backup duty, this is season one for the young prodigy.
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.
