Roussel is hopeless

And I'm starting to get sick of the markstrom homers, acting like - in his contract year - he's Hasek and Patrick Roy.
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

Tanev / Ryan fight --- https://streamable.com/75kl9#
What a terrible effort to begin a game. So important and they were not ready. Is that partly on Green? The officiating wasn't very good but
not bad enough to lay all the blame on.
Odds just went waaaaaaay down for any chance to beat toronto in 2 days....................................................piss on it.

Petterson chopped him back and gave him the stick again later. I ain’t worried about Petey. It’s still a mans league, sometimes you get a poke in the beak. It’s good for these young guys.

The wife is gone to the Sunshine Coast this weekend. It might be time for Hargraves to have an old fashioned hootenanny.Doyle Hargraves wrote: ↑Thu Feb 27, 2020 8:17 pmHow many did you goon back tonight?Chef Boi RD wrote: ↑Thu Feb 27, 2020 7:59 pmIn most cases Carl, but in Doyles case, drinking is the only reason he gets out of bed everydayCarl Yagro wrote: ↑Thu Feb 27, 2020 7:53 pm Bobby Ryan misses half the season to attend AA meetings. I remember it took awhile for the Rooster to get his game going last year when he came back from that injury. He's already @ the 35 game mark right now, but still doesn't look very good. He had a hot start off the hop returning from injury, but has been struggling to find his legs and confidence ever since. We didn't have as much depth last year though, so he had more minutes playing with better players. Remember talk saying he was a great winger with BoHo. If our lineup was more healthy, I'd consider scratching him, but there's no one really pushing him out of the starting lineup right now. For what it's worth, his points production is still quite similar to last season (goals actually higher, but assists are way down). He had some beaut backhander passes last season, but haven't seen it at all so far.

He's not Hasek, nor Roy, but he is a fair bit better than Demko.
I miss him.

Without Markstrom for an extended period, doubt this team makes the playoffs. In his interview, Demko didn't think it, (he), was that bad.
Yes it,(he), was. At least two bad goals, and at the time of them, the game was salvageable.
The team as a whole made the cardinal sin of taking a weaker team lightly. Bad, bad, bad.
And no, it had nothing to do with the return of the, now dry, Ryan.

Id rather they take a doormat like the sens lightly and lose then go into the toilet bowl and punish the turds thanks.

They showed up for some of it - and it looked like a power play out there for quite a while. But, too little too late. The Brown Wizard wrote: ↑Fri Feb 28, 2020 8:31 am Id rather they take a doormat like the sens lightly and lose then go into the toilet bowl and punish the turds thanks.

Btw - we need the points (especially against these 'weaker' teams).
And yes, they better show up tomorrow and flush the leaves.

Calm down guys. Marky has been at his craft MUCH longer in the NHL and really isn't Night and Day over Demko.
Only a season and a half ago and before Ian Clark, Marky was still struggling as a tweener, not quite good enough to be a legitimate 60+ game starter.
How many times did we throw up our arms in frustration as yet another first shot goal went in? When he let in yet another classic Under Arm(or) goal? When he showed a weak glove hand and whiffed on yet another shot? When he was too jacked up and over-aggressive and wasn't in position to stop the next shot?
He was SO bad when we traded for him that he had to spend an entire year in the AHL to re-learn his game. He was awful.
Green the stubborn ass has overplayed guys including Marky. At some point you have to develop the backup and give him a string of games even if the starter is healthy. We wouldn't be where we are if he didn't have one of the best tandems in the league.
The cup winning teams' starting goalie in the last how many years didn't play more than 60 games.
