MLB playoffs

The primary goal of this site is to provide mature, meaningful discussion about the Vancouver Canucks. However, we all need a break some time so this forum is basically for anything off-topic, off the wall, or to just get something off your chest! This forum is named after poster Creeper, who passed away in July of 2011 and was a long time member of the Canucks message board community.

Fucking Red Sucks. And the damn Dodgers look like they will win as well. It’s certainly the two best teams though.

Maybe Kimbrel will get stuck in his crow pose and take a line drive in the tits.

Maybe someone earholes Yassail Puig

Perhaps Justin Turner trips over his beard and breaks his ankle.

Possibly Dustin Pedroia gets hit with a screamer in the dugout.

Maybe someone breaks Chase Utleys leg at 2B

Or maybe Tommy Lasorda chokes on a ham sandwich like Mama Kass

That’s all he’s ever been. Price probably should have won it but Pearce raked in the games he played.

Guy has been a bench/platoon guy his entire career. Got hot at the right time

Fuck yeah! 5-tool player.

Hit for power, hit for average, stole bases, great on the basepath, gold glove defence, cannon arm. Won batting titles. MVP.

The fuckwits punished him for playing in Coors Field while known PED users continue to see their votes rise. SMH.

Amazing what him and Steve Nash has done for themselves and Canada considering they both started late and had no Canadian role models to look up to. Both pioneers in their sports.

Him and Cam Neely. Two HOFs from Maple Ridge. Well done, Larry. Well done.

His dad got pretty choked up on the news. HE was a tremendous ball player in his own right. He signed a contract as a young guy and went back to Maple Ridge because he was homesick. The whole family is very, very nice people.

Larry Jr was so raw when he went to Montreal but developed into one of the smartest players in the bigs. Injuries robbed Larry of probably two or three years full of games. Glad to see him get in and Schilling not get in.

Would have been nice to see how Justin Morneau’s career might have gone had he not gotten hurt.

His dad looked good. Didn't know that he was a prospect.

The more I think about it, the more improbable it seems. The guy never really played baseball as a kid, only glorified softball in some beer leagues. Then basically learns the game from scratch in the minors and becomes a big leaguer and HOFer.

That's crazy

Morneau had some great years, but after those concussions, he just wasn't the same player.
