The War on Canada

The primary goal of this site is to provide mature, meaningful discussion about the Vancouver Canucks. However, we all need a break some time so this forum is basically for anything off-topic, off the wall, or to just get something off your chest! This forum is named after poster Creeper, who passed away in July of 2011 and was a long time member of the Canucks message board community.

Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

And we’re back.

Trump needs to rally his troops, and how do you do that better than imposing some tariffs on Canadian aluminium?

And not even the American aluminium producers think this is a good idea.... :look:
The US Chamber of Commerce is warning that a decision to bring back the tariffs could raise costs for US manufacturers.

Myron Brilliant, head of international affairs for the industry group, told Reuters the move was "a step in the wrong direction" and that the measures are opposed by US aluminium manufacturers.

In late June, a group of 15 aluminium executives sent a letter to US Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer calling for continued tariff exemptions for aluminium in North America.

And to think, there are Trump supporters in Canada. That’s like giving someone carte Blanche to rape and pillage your village

A war between Canada and Denmark has finally been averted with the two countries agreeing to divide Hans Island into a Canadian and a Danish half.
