Hear hear. I just had to get "taint" into another post.

I'm an opportunist and this was the perfect setup.

Not like Chef, he was calm, cool and collected the whole time as usual

Next order of business, how does Benning pry Hayton from Chayka?

It was a test BW, to show as an example what not do as a fan.

It was OK. Not the most mature group we've ever had but then again, beer league officiating in umpteen dozen languages doesn't help either.
Fuck that was bad. An embarrassment for the IIHF.
If Dylan Cozens ever puts on a little more weight, he'd be "more" of a force. Ah, never mind. Sabre's have had too many gifts over the
years and never won it all either.

Good game for Podkolzin. Was never around at the right time.

I have given it some thought and have finally remembered a player who played like Podkoslin does..

Nemchinov with the Rags.

He was a sound defensive center with a decent passing game but never a big numbers scorer.

Thats what we have. Fantastic if he rounds out like that

Or a Jannik Hansen type. Just a better playmaker. Not ideal for a top 10 pick but he’ll definitely be a top 9 forward who plays a heavy 2 way game. You need those guys.

Bingo. I think he'll turn out more like a JT Miller or Pearson type of player... big, enough offensive skill, but with a better 2 way game. He should be a beast in the half-court.

For a Russian, he also seems like a very good team guy. You definitely need these types if you want to win.

Podkolzin is going to be a very excellent complimentary forward for us, he’s still very young. I just like how calm he is with the puck, rarely gives the puck away, awesome at protecting it, a great puck possession player, highly intelligent, head on a swivel, great defensively. Reminds me of a better, bigger version of Alex Burrows.
