So we score 5. Who scored?
Pearson x2
Leivo

Graovac

Who would have thunk it.

I gotta say, I don't think I've ever seen more of a two-horse team than Edmonton. After Leon and McDoofus they have absolutely nothing up front.

I think they need to force a Crosby-Malkin situation and get some balance in the attack 5-on-5 because they have zero depth production happening.

Loui's best game of the season, and yes... I'm calling it now for the remainder of 19/20.

I can't shake the feeling this is the beginning of the Oilers collapse. Sub-.500 for 14 games, outscored 3 to 9 in the last 2 games, they're completely healthy...

Good game! A .500 road trip. Most of us said they needed to at least have a .500 trip to stay in it. Too bad they had that meltdown in Pittsburgh but maybe it sent a message cause they played the full 60 tonight. Learning to win. Learning to close out games.

Now if we can repeat tomorrow we will pull to within 3 points of the Oilers. Wouldn’t that be a kick in the nuts to that other hockey board!?!?!?

That was a pretty good statement game.

Man it sure looks like some of the teams issues this year have been fatigue. They were skating miles and all over the coil from start til finish. That has to be why they look like they skate in soup some games

That was a solid effort. Need to follow it up tomorrow with a better one.

Jovocop wrote: Sat Nov 30, 2019 8:18 pm I hate Kassian. He was given a chance to succeed in Vancouver but decided to do drugs instead. The Canucks ended up losing a pick to get rid of him. He was given a chance to succeed in Montreal and did nothing. Now, all of a sudden, he becomes a useful player that the Canucks wanted him to be.
For what it's worth, I think Kassassian liked being a Canuck and was well liked by his mates (Sedins, Tan-man, Juice, etc), but he was young and easily fell into the rock star lifestyle that came with the money and fame. I think MG was able to manage him better, but he had move invested in Kass as he traded for him. When JB came in, it was a different regime and JB didn't really want to deal with Kass's off ice issues. Unfortunately, the 2 fallouts in Vancouver and especially Montreal was probably the wakeup call Zack needed to get his life straightened out.

Nice to see Pearse with a strong game. His goals were kind of ugly and a bit lucky, but we'll take it to help us get the win. Pearse is looking like a viable winger for BoHo again, which is great cuz we could really use a guy to step up and take that spot. Eriksson was pretty good there too with a goal. I seem to recall the Pearse-BoHo-Eriksson was pretty good for us down the stretch last season as well.

With Beags and Sutts down, I think it's better to keep BoHo and Miller apart. They're 2 of our better faceoff men and when they're on the same line, only 1 guy can take the faceoff. When Miller is playing with Petey, he can help that line out by taking lots of draws.

I wouldn't put that much stock in it.

We beat a 2-horse team tonight.....and those horses were the guys that burned us twice.

We managed to beat a team that has the worst production below it's top line.

We did play the full 60 though, and that effort was something to build on.
