Eriksson with Horvat and Miller for second straight day. Looks like that will be the shutdown line #Canucks construct for tonight

Meh, might be okay, I like Jake as part of the Alien Abduction Line.

Pearson and Leivo with Gaudette... hmmm.

Yeah it'll be nice to have Roussel, Ferland, Sutter, and Beagle back... all within the next week?
Who goes down at that point? Graovac, Goldie, MacEwen and Louie?

Blobbee used the Hayes UFA rights acquisition by Philly as ammo for his argument against the Miller trade. Said that would’ve been a better route to go than trading for Miller

Hayes 7 goals 5 assists
Virtanen 7 goals 4 assists

Canucks want a shutdown line for McD--Dry--Kass so that's why the talk of Horvat Miller and Eriksson.
I get it but think maybe LE has lost a step and although still somewhat foolish at times, not sure I wouldn't have Jake in that role to-nite.
I think he'd take it seriously and be damn good, do some legal bashing too. Doc I think mentioned that too.
But then there's tomorrow too, ffs.

Oil slicks gotta start dropping off soon. Getting embarrassing.

Jake might be the only forward with the speed to keep up with McDavid as well.

Did Dude actually write this?

Unbelievable. Smh.

Either Makar and Pettersson would be 1st overall in a re-draft.

I didn't know too much about Pettersson at the time so I was pretty ticked off that Colorado snatched up Makar just before we had a chance. Just like when CBJ took PLD ahead of us.

In hindsight, I'm pretty happy we got Petey and Huggy.

Any updates on those injured players coming back? All I’ve heard is Roussel is on his way back. I guess that’s the end of MacEwen. Could really use Sutter, Beagle and Ferland to bump some of the deadweight off the forward lines. It will most likely be Jake and Gaudette watching though.

I posted that interview with Ferland and "HE" said it depends how he feels. Must be symptom free and he isn't yet. He said, rather annoyed, it
could be a day, a week, a month.
Sutter is day to day.

Not good news on Ferland at all. That was always the risk with the player even though I was an advocate of the signing. I wonder how physical he will be when he comes back. He might float and flutter around like Louie trying not to break the dozen eggs in his gear.

They said Roussel was either joining or was already with the team in Edmonton after a 2-game Utica stint.
