The fact that you think was a good trade but bitch about a 3rd round pick given up for Chris Higgins exposes you bigly time amigo.

Derlago was nowhere near Derek Sanderson. Hey why not just go straight to Bob Probert when slandering a guys name? You’ve jumped the shark.

The name of Tiger still brings back some of my best Canuck memories. People forget what a goal scorer he was along with his personality. If sports is entertainment, Tiger was great.

He once said he was born in 1936 and it seems he had a pretty good life.

He was cryptic a while back about not gonna be around long.

RIP Tiger, thanks for the memories...

Nice to see the team bounce back with a strong game after a lousy one. Great to see Marky respond with a solid performance after getting lit up in Dallas. I was glad to see Graovac and Big Mac Zack Attack Pack McEwen inserted into the lineup as well. Eriksson and Bearcheese don't play hungry enuff, they made their money and don't really seem willing to pay the price to score/win anymore. Definitely disappointed in Bearcheese. For a guy who was cast off to Utica, clears waivers and for him to get a chance now to prove he belongs, he hasn't done much. He does look like a guy who is playing with hesitation and doesn't want to get hit in the noggin again. Can't blame him I guess, but if he's not willing to give 100% out there, battle and compete, we can't afford to have him here. I think I'd rather give Golds a shot here over him, but I guess there's not much difference between the 2.

Might as well just play some younger, bigger doods. While they may not be as talented, they're hungry to prove that they belong in the NHL and are better built to battle in the NHL. Happy for Graovac, to see him get his first goal as a Nuck. He looks a bit like our old buddy Bert out there with that big frame wearing #44. :P

Yup, I recall he didn't expect to see last season at all. At least he saw one year of Petey and knew we were in good hands.

SKYO wrote: Thu Nov 21, 2019 7:09 pm Take out the perimeter players in Eriksson and Baertschi and put in some construction hardworkers and the team gets a kick in the arse to play better.

Graovac + MacEwen.
In the first shift of the game that is exactly what happened. Image

Facts Mick, team was missing all their soldiers in Ferland, Roussel and Motte - Big MacEwen and Graovac are proving to be solid depth call-ups for grit and energy.

Preds fans are done with their coach.

The team is weaker defensively, counting on Fabbro to take over PK Subban's minutes is proving to be disastrous.

RyJo and Duchene aren't solving their problems.
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

.
Loved big Mac's hit in the first shift. Thought it might be a prelude to a new aggressive approach. Wasn't, but we won anyway because

Wes McCauley wanted us to. :)

Wow, the Cats are really bad right now. Might be another coach dust biting.

Not gonna throw compliments all over the place. Other than drawing penalties,we didn't look very good five on five.

So many players getting caught not picking up checks. Work needed there.

Still, it's good to pad the point totals, both team and individual because hopefully that instills confidence and that's what's been missing.

It's why I'm glad LE is sitting. Be even better to send him down to the minors as soon as logically, monetarily, prudently possible.

Even if player like he and or Baertsxhi, for that matter, are not playing games, they are practicing and traveling with the team.

kindred friendships happen on close knit pro sport teams and when guys are struggling to find their game on a long term basis,

maybe better out of sight, out of mind, just saying.

Take the two points and build on it. Ya; right into Washington at 9:30 in the freaking morning, Saturday. Not effing fair, is it? :baaa:

"TJ Miller" is a damn good hockey player.
