Benning had 6 draft picks of his in the line up last night

Demko
Hughes
Gaudette
Boeser
Pettersson
Virtanen

Genius!

And there’s more on the way!

Gillis 6 drafts. Book Written

Bo Horvat. A trade. Schneider. That’s it. Nothing else! No more! Nada!

We still have a bunch more Benning picks coming. Book not written on his 6 drafts!

Podkozlin
Hoglander
Woo
Madden
Tryamkin
Lockwood
DiPietro
Lind
Juolevi
Rathbone

I predict that in due time one half of the Canucks line up will be made up of Bennings picks from his first 6 drafts. Unbelievable! Unprecedented!!

Gillis - 1 in 6 drafts and we traded for him. Brutal!

And he isn’t even very good right? I heard he’s better than Mackinnon but worse than Gaudette.

Tyler Madden with another big night last night - 1 goal 2 assists tied for 4th overall in NCAA scoring ahead of Zegras and Turcotte

He’s a 20 year old college sophomore, the other two are 18 year old rookies.

I wonder if Madden will be better than Mackinnon and Horvat or just Mackinnon.

All I know is the struggling Horvat has some very good wingers on the way, help is coming for Bo! Madden can play wing. He’s a top shelf player.

This kid is definitely tracking well. Could be a steal of a 3rd rounder. I see hes +18 along with being over a point a game so far this year.

Theres a wave of these kids all roughly the same age that are coming along nicely. Madden being my pick to be a top 6 NHL player one day. Whats his playing weight these days? He was a feather before and wondering if hes getting thicker at all

He’s razor thin.

Will he turn pro at the end of the season?

5-11 / 155 - yep, he'll need to put on some weight.

155 is too light. He needs to at least hit 180

Most sites say 150. He's 20. That.s a prospect-lite.

Mickey, he’s fast, skilled, slippery, great with a puck, head on a swivel, competitive, high IQ, not afraid of the tough areas. He’s no different than any of the other skilled slight players in the NHL who are enjoying great success at will. This isn’t Blobbee Sockem Hockey no anymore!!

Mick this kid is the real deal. He will get stronger and should be playing 2nd line wing by 2022.
