So Horvat apparently is sore or banged up a bit. Probably from the 27+ minutes he played against Nash....the most ice time by any forwards in the NHL this year (that dont include OT)
This is why Miller will play with Gaudette i believe. Without Sutter and Beagle, theyre looking a little thin up the middle

Yeah, Miller probably takes most of the draws on that line...

I'm going to say Miller is so valuable and has such a varied game that he can actually move up and down and be that line's driver while playing the role required of him.The Brown Wizard wrote: ↑Thu Nov 14, 2019 4:56 pm So Horvat apparently is sore or banged up a bit. His careers metrics are so good, even the analytic guys can't say shit.
A veteran who positively affects the team. Makes your young stars better, drops down to support a struggling captain, drops down to protect a young guy learning to play a checking center role.
I'm glass half-full that way.
Then there will be others mentioned in the LOL thread that will say, this proves he is a third-liner

Should be a good game tonight as Dallas is riding a streak (which we'll end) - but after a shitty start, they're on a roll.
Looking at a 4-3 Canucks victory tonight.
GO CANUCKS GO!

I can’t wait until the Benn and Tryamkin rematch next season
“Tyler Myers is my guy... I was taking to Scotty Bowman last night and he was bringing up his name, and saying he’s a big guy and big guy need big minutes to play, he is playing great for ya… and I agree with him… He’s been exceptional” - Bruce Boudreau

Khudobin already has a SHUTOUT against us. He doesn't need another SHUTOUT.

If you are a new goalie breaking into the NHL,
you better make sure that you play Canucks as your first game and play a lot against the Canucks

Yes, backup goalies fight to get the Canuck game.
Shots from the outside, increase your save percentage, lower your goals against, get your first SHUTOUT, look good while doing it. Pretty much guaranteed win night.
