An NBA title would be the biggest win by any pro Canadian team since Toronto Blue Jays.

That’s why I (and a lot more Canadians than GTA trolls want to recognize) are cheering for Golden State.

Who's we, sucka?
You couldn't even show your face here for a month after the Leaves lost.
Now you're a proud Raptors fan since June 2019. What a front-running bandwagoner.
At least the basketball team only needed half the time as the overrated hockey team to reach the finals.

Now your pushing it.
When it was just about sports, things were fun, sort of.
But saying ^ that, well, you just lost all credibility.
Have you ever visited anywhere else?

Yep, Raptors play good defence, no question. Something the leaves are incapable of doing.
Funny isn’t it. It’s like the fish wants to take personal credit for the Jays winning it and the Raptors being on the verge. It’s his doing. His manhood has been restored.
I loved the Blue Jays winning it all. I’m enjoying the Raptor’s run. But I guess because the leaves suck I’m supposed to hate? But hey, as long as the fish isn’t on a bridge anymore all is good.
Oh it hurts Tuna, it just bloody well hurts that the Raptors are bringing it. On the shame, the agony. Oh please don’t bring it up again. Oh it hurts.
Feel better.
Oh and what hell does baseball and basketball have to do with how bad the leaves are anyway?

Re: The Official CC "All Thing Leaves" thread
The World Series is a bit of a joke honestly. It's like watching golf or chess.
With the exception of the odd incredible defensive play, 7 guys stand around watching two other guys play pig in the middle and hope that the guy throwing the ball is better than the guy trying to hit it.
Riveting shit.
Honestly that title means sweet nothing in the realm of championships that are won through blood, sweat, or intense physical effort.
The Super Bowl and Stanley Cup are the tough ones, but considering the 82 game season, the 4 rounds of grueling playoffs that might mean a team actually plays 100 games between October and June.....the Grail stands alone.
Toronto diehards can take 1992 and 93 and shove it up their asses.

I've never cared whether or not the Raptors or Blue Jays won it all, why would I
.., but lately ole Starkist is making me wonder whether I should be busy hexing them as well.

Name the asset.Strangelove wrote: ↑Wed Jun 05, 2019 11:42 amI see, he's a RHD so it doesn't matter that he's garbage!!BigTuna wrote: ↑Wed Jun 05, 2019 6:41 amWhat is the asset you are talking about? Zaitsev is garbage.
Zaitsev is a RHD. There won't be any 1st rounder or prospect coming with him.
Wake up, he makes twice as much as his similarly talented RHD brethren
... and for 5 more years!!
Oh you better believe your Leaves will be attaching an asset to dump his ass...
